If this was soccer or football the coach/manager would be having a hard time at the press conference why he picked roan vd Moosdijk. Dont think the (Dutch) moto journos will be full of critique though.

PS. never said the Dutch guy was livid, just pointing out that he did indeed speak with the FIM about the decision

To be honest, 10 places is a joke for sure. There is no way Lupino would have finished in 7th if he would have braked, and try to get back on the track where he was supposed to.

Why 7th?
He got 17th with the penalty. You think he wouldn't have been able to get to 17th after entering in last?

Nagl was pretty much last after lap 5 (not sure what happened) and got back up to 19th and Lupino was 3-4 seconds a lap faster all race
Lupino's talent for cutting the track reminded me of Jason Lawrence at his best.

At Champagnetime the Same...

And after the podiom Interview he gives the mic to Glenn....
You think there is a change he was told how Italy won this MXDN with Lupino his move?

Right, I would be real pissed to.

Pissed and disappointment in the team? Yes, I know he is, as he also should. RVDM rode like crap whole weekend long. Coldenhoff didn’t look to good either, especially first moto.

I think people are being too hard on Van de Moosdijk. I think he did alright for both outside gate picks and honestly I think De Wolf wouldn't have done as good.

If I was Herlings, then no I would not be happy with a second. Sacrificed the weekend off from GPs and risked injury when most other riders going for the championship didn't, and were also the favourites for the win coming into the event. I mean if he was riding for Finland or something then he should've been happy with 2nd, but understandable he isn't when he is riding for The Netherlands.

WTF are you on about?

When Herlings looked to the left for a fraction of a second, with Speedy Guada long gone?

We're going to have enough BS toing and froing about penalties, here, without you imagining idiocy like a confrontation.

I remember people saying Herlings was mad for doing this event. He’s got 2 more race starts, 2 more motos & 2 more race wins under his belt plus a boat load more of confidence going into next weekend. Win win situation I would say.

He took a step in his direction and then stopped. Anyways if you read my comment properly you'd know that I didn't say I thought he did that, I just said it looked like that. If I see a cloud that looks like a dick and I say "that cloud looks like a dick" I don't actually think the cloud is a dick

A lot of bitching on Van de Moosdijk here. Considering he just came back from a scaphoid injury, he did the best he could. I think De Wolf should've replaced him anyway, but it seems Assendelft kept his initial choice.

i think most people didnt agree with that choice over here for obvious reasons as kay did awesome last weeks
van de moosdijk did what he could , dont think he was to blame at all , just lacked fitness and rhythm

No, bitching on the decision to pick him.
I like Roan and he gave everything he had. Its just that considering his injury he wasbt the best option

They made the team selection way to early IMO, and they sticked with it.Yes it looked the best on paper, but De Wolf really turned it up this year. Then RVDM gets injured and the team selection doesn’t change.

RVDM is only back on the bike a few weeks, and the last GP you could see where is at, and you could feel a mediocore results coming.

It is what it is, couple mistakes on the Team NL part wich cost them the win today.

Absolute banger! Do you think they'll be able to go to RedBud? Maybe this great result helps them to get the funding going!

Pretty sure they're talking about that montage sort of thing they played at the start of the broadcast with clips from the previous years

We will never find out. But i like the odds of de Wolf getting at least one 17th place finish. Especially when guys like petrashin, everts, gifting, mewse, langenfelder and haarup managed to do that.

29. Course cutting is forbidden. Should the Race Direction determine that a rider
left the course with the intention to gain anadvantage, then the rider in question will be disqualified from the respective practice/race. Further penalties may be imposed.

Watson's crash could have been nasty. He did well to get going and stay in 4th with his grips covered in mud.

Yes, pretty good for his rookie MXGP season. He's been solid most of the year so far but just lacks confidence on riding a 450 on hard pack.
