ross pedersons overall finishes in the US was 11th overall for his whole career according to my data.

this was computed using all of their results for every class they raced outdoors and if they completed atleast 5 races. supercross results have been EXCLUDED

100%, JSR has been is legend on and off the track, years after retirement. He holds a Management position with KTM running their race team, and is an excellent mentor for young riders. I believe he invested his money wisely in real estate and is as fit as the day he retired . I wonder what Ross got up to after his career Wink

Clearly it's Pedersom overall but I like to think of the era's and Pederson, JSR then Facciotti each had a clear era they dominated with other champs in between.

Those 3 riders lock down the podium no question.

That cornering pic is awesome. I was in his pit checking it out in 96-98 everyonewas speaking French . He had the trickiest rig of any privateer. Ross finished 4th or 5 th in a moto at Millville against Johnson , Ward etc.

if you say jsr, that means that you're to young and stupid to have a clue. i don't like ross....but the stats don't lie. he's done more than jsr, colt and blair morgan have done combined.

In some people's opinion it means quite a bit, to you, not so much I suppose. I guess you would have to know what either of them did with their life(JSR/Rollerball) once they stopped racing pro to make an opinion.....

JSR is still winning races and championships as he runs KTM Canada's race team/program.

Rollerball and Cooperalls - GOAT of MX and hockey! LOL. Remember watching him in Thunder Bay racing6 motos. He rode stiff, but was super fast. Loved watching him dog Jim Hollywood Holley at the area cross series as well.

Doug Hoover was good, but just a bit less speed. Loved his style on the white yamahas with black seat covers rather than the red.

Steen Hansen is the GOAT of Canadian MX industry, Racer, founder of Steen Hansen Racing and still racing vintage at age 84. Wish him the best in healing up for next season. I plan on having a birthday beer with him next year.

Yup and Ross was only guy on that list riding modified stocker. Was was the man. Raced against Pederson in 85 in Medicine Hat. Man was he fast, and had the track dialed. My first expert race, was quite eye opener. I Had Suzuki arm 250 that year, and rear Suspension was excellent. Ross has 40+ Canadian National Championships (125, 250, 500, supercross). No other Canadian even has double digit championships. Ross has 40+. Pederson is greatest Canuck of all time (gcoat). Back then Ross raced 6-40 minute Moto;day. 125x2, 250x2, 500x2. I remember Ross raced Yamaha in 1980. Ross won the overall for the day. Then after trophy presentation, he went back out on track and practised another hour. Greatness in the making. 🥃🥃🥃

Great racing a lot of action on the smaller but rough track. Reminds me a little of republic track in the UP. Smaller tracks make for great racing and contact is common and expected. I beat Sara whitmor there 2 LL 125 b and myself dropped her quick.

Look at the Michigan Mafia representatives in there. First race I watched, Eddie Warren was ripping it up on a DMC KX125. First track I rode, Kieth Bowen was out there on his Team Yamaha YZ250. By the time I started racing Stanton had already quit the local scene and turned Pro.

With those stats its obviously Ross "Rollerball" Pederson.
I'd pick him anyways just because hes got the 80s nickname going
and I remember him getting results on the American scene.

Pederson’s results speak for themselves . Can nats , US nats , SX , a few GP’s …. The sheer volume of times he went up against the best shows his character .

JSR and Facciotti round out the podium .
