** Nevermind, what he said ^^^ ** 😂😂

I'm some what new to it all of this but I've been forced to listen to it in some of the podcasts I listen too. From my small understanding he'll release a limited amount of 'coins'. If he does it well, he will offer 'special' coins that may offer special benefits like a one yearly ride day with him or a quarterly merch pack. Depending on his popularity, news or if the owners are struggling to pay for their only fans subscriptions, they may look to sell them for a higher or lower price to another buyer. Each time they sell, the coin owners will most likely take a small percentage cut each transfer. There's actually some really cool ideas floating around with coins and NFT's and it could be something privateers may use rather then just a gofundme page

I feel really dumb about this subject. Why would someone pay real money for anything like this? If I wanted Seely merch then I would just want to pay real money that item(s) and be done. I don't see why anyone would want anything other than an occasional merch item for it's cost in real dollars. Putting real money towards anything else seems insane. It is almost like a bad investment or commitment to something so trivial. I guess I am just old or this concept is beyond me.

Stick with the OG ponzi schemes for grams birthday gift. May I recommend Mary Kay or Herbalife?

All people I know talking about crypto, NFT, etc, are unemployed or rich kids living off their parent's money pretending to be traders, stock brokers whatever you call them. I understand the urge for non centralized banking and so on, but not my cup of tea. My sister works in binance and gets paid with real money, that on my eyes is telling.

What I can't stand is the snob attitude towards normal folks like myself, from the people on this wagon, like if we, the people who actually work, etc are idiots. As for the topic of this thread, good luck to Seeley in his new endeavor.

I don't know what Seely's goal is with his, it could just simply be a coin and nothing more but I feel its more of a NFT project if anything. BTW I haven't invested in any bitcoins or NFT's, I just listen to a financial podcasts here and there and force my way through the explanations 😂

It can be done in a good way that can bring value to someone rather than just a simple donation. Another example/ way of explaining it is imagine Coty Schock had something like a gofundme with limit 'slots' starting last year.

He could have initially released 90 slots at $10 each with a code included into the purchase that allows them to join a private group chat that he'd keep his 'fans' updated in and would answer questions on. He also releases a different 10 slots at $50 each and they get that bonus, plus a worn jersey/ gloves/ gear ect once a year.

It can basically be used like a patreon/ only fans/ subscription service with only a limited amount of spots, if you want to leave you sell to someone trying to get in. Those theoretical slots would be worth double that right now.

There's levels to this stuff and there's some really creative and cool ways to use it to benefit all involved. Sadly there will be more versions of this that are just money grabs than ones that are meant for good.

Unfortunately, we are just starting to see this new movement with personally branded currencies. All of the influencers are probably going to start jumping on this trend in hopes that their "personal economies" grow in popularity.

These NFTs from Rally are powered by Etherum blockchain.

Creator coins are unique in the fact you can only use them to buy the products or services of that creator. So when you buy $SEELY, you can only spend them on items or services within his "economy". The economy is the exclusive content he is advertising in the link. As a $SEELY holder, you would be able to participate in the early drops AND have the ability to use your $SEELY tokens to buy his stuff.

An investment strategy would be to buy $SEELY tokens early in the program (like right now) and then help Cole grow his "economy" so that more and more people want to buy his tokens. So actively recruiting people to like his YouTube channel, helping him sell more stuff, promoting his social drops, etc. are ways that Cole would use the $SEELY token holders to help grow his personal economy. The $SEELY holders would have a vested interest in helping him grow because growth of the amount of $SEELY token holders means the $SEELY token value will increase, which provides you with a return on your original investment. On the other hand, it could all go terribly wrong and if $SEELY goes down, your tokens will be worth less than your original USD investment.

You'll have to make a Rally account if you want to buy his tokens and you will have to deposit USD (obviously) to purchase the $SEELY tokens. If you don't spend the $SEELY tokens on his stuff, you can always convert it back to USDC and then transfer the USDC to a crypto wallet (i like Coinbase) to cash it out as USD.

Its hard to say how these tokens will perform for someone like Cole. He obviously has a great following in the moto community, but in my opinion he would need something to spark a larger fan base of his personal economy (*cough* soon to be released Target toy line * CoughCough*) which could take off and help increase the $SEELY. In the end though, he's still a niche influencer, but he definitely has one of the most predominant customer basis on YouTube and social.

If you have some spare cash lying around, show $SEELY some support and buy some tokens. Probably won't get rich, but i'm sure we've all bought dumber stuff with our money.

$DEEG....now that's an upcoming NFT that has some potential with their Social power.

Also - Buy $AMC$. HOLD for MOASS.

I don't need to understand it. When I see people talk about how much they have made off crypto they always tell me how much on top of their initial investment they are in terms of dollars. It is just speculative gambling. The people that swear by the bitcoin know good and well that when the time comes they will be selling their bitcoin back for a value based in USD.

PS. I've never met a single soul that has admitted to losing money in the crypto scene. Coincidentally, not a single one of my buddies has admitted to getting hosed after a night at the poker table.

People said the same thing about the internet and the dot com bubble.

No one is twisting your arm to learn the ins and outs of crypto currencies, but you should at least have enough self awareness to understand crypto currencies are here to stay and will likely be a preferred currency at some point in the future, predominantly due to the insane safety of blockchain transaction. We already live in a world where you can use some crypto currencies to pay directly from a crypto wallet without exchanging to USD. Why do you think the SEC and FED are so he’ll bent on figuring out how to regulate?

You know what else is “speculative gambling?” Buying a home on a 30yr mortgage.

My ex-wife made tens of thousands in Crypto in the matter of a few weeks, but it's volatile!
I have a friend who owns a metal tradings firm and he said he won't touch crypto because it's used for all kinds of money laundering. I have no idea if it's true but he runs a pretty big company.

I appreciate the explanation. I feel older every day, especially with all of this stuff. I still don't quite understand the full concept but if it's trustworthy and helps him grow his community then by all means, hope it works out for him. I watch all of his vlogs.

There is good money in mining cryptocurrency…I have a customer that has mined over 650 bitcoins(~$32M) this year. In one weekend alone they were awarded 3 blocks!

Electricity to power the miners is coming from ICE generators running on oil well flare gas..

Interesting news. Please tell me it's not a pump-and-dump. There's been so much controversy around influencers and crypto scams. I'd hate to see Cole get involved in it. He has always seemed like a trustworthy dude but it's hard to trust these crypto endeavors, no matter who's backing them, at least for me. What are your thoughts?
Just dollar cost average into Bitcoin, it's the only crypto that matters. Yeah you might make some gains on others, but in the end, Bitcoin is the only crypto uncorrelated enough to the fake financial system to be considered a global collateral asset.

If you really want to learn about the space, I highly recommend checking out the Real Vision YouTube channel and most specifically Raoul Pal’s Bitcoin Liferaft video as well as his Exponential Age video. These will give you a decent overview of why this space is so exciting, without getting too deep into the technical analysis. To truly understand the crypto space though (and I’m far from an expert), you’re going to really have to take a deep dive into understanding what money is, what the role of central banks are, and why it’s so important for us to take back our purchasing power and create safe haven assets to protect us from mismanagement of our currencies. It’s a big leap, but over the last year I’ve really gained a much better understanding of not only crypto but asset markets as well, lots of fun to be had if you’re into the sort of thing that bores most people to death Laughing

And trust me, you’re not dumb, this stuff is very complex and I’m not even going to begin to pretend that I’m some sort of genius that understands it all and knows where it’s going, nobody does. We’re very early in this revolution and everyone has a lot to learn, we just all have to start somewhere.

This.

And wasting a shitton of the worlds energy for absolutely no reason at all.

Bitcoin was supposed to be this "bank free" currency and everything was supposed to be so great and free and you can use it anywhere and its the best thing in the world. We are 12 years deep at this point and all it has been doing is eating a fuckton of energy that could be used elsewhere and it isnt useful for anything.

Someone mentioned pyramid scheme and thats exactly what it is. Altcoins are even worse.

At least I believe that the Bitcoin creaters originally had good intentions and a dream of making a state/bank free currency only to have it fail to do that massively. These altcoin bullshit are just scams.
