Hopefully this won’t be the last time there’s a GP at this track.

450 point standings really getting interesting
Herlings 371
Gajser 370
Febvre 367
Prado 359

Woohoo
And Tony would also be right there, probably between 3 and 61. What a shame

Yeah very true, such a bummer. Hopefully the rest of these guys can stay injury free for the rest of the year and we would finally get a proper Gajser vs Herlings battle for the title with possible spoilers from Febvre and Prado.

I'm bummed that Gajser got hurt, I think Herlings would have reeled him in anyway, barring injury, and there wouldn't be any excuses then.

Shouldn’t be any excuses anyways. Racing is racing. Sometimes you get hurt and rarely are you healthy. Herlings dealt with an injury which kept him from racing and now Gajser is dealing with one too. It just shows how bad ass both guys are for battling through injuries. Whoever ends up winning this title will have deserved it 100% with no excuses.

Wind your neck in, no one called it a shithole. Maybe our next round should be in Lanzerote and have no one at it as well. Track was very one lined also, took Herlings ages to get by MXGPs new moble chicane.

Agreed he is a cracking rider and a future world champ but he’s developing a habit of closing off lines very late and nearly had Herlings off today. His weight dictates lots of hole shots and he has a right to defend in a safe manner but he’s gonna have someone off with aggressive chopping especially on one line tracks. Anyway I’m not whining as much as you whining about me. The racing was fine today regardless of the low attendance.

You know they had low attendance because they had a limit of 1000 people because of covid? Italy normaly has huge crowds.

“Heavy fall in the second lap of timed practice left me for a few moments without feeling in my legs or arms, shortly after everything was back to almost normal and after several checks (negative results fortunately) we still couldn’t take part in the race! I’m sorry for the missed opportunity but we plan to get back on the saddle as soon as possible! Hugs to all”. Cairoli stated on social media.

Couldn't agree more, but I'm still expecting excuses from the Gajser fans, they can't even acknowledge that none of his titles have came against a healthy Herlings.

Me too.

What’s the use of that race now anyway with a heavily depleted field.

I agree. Tim could of knocked Herlings out and did not take advantage. Herlings will win this title by a large margin.

Not sure there are any Gajser fans here, and it's not down to Tim who is healthy and who isn't healthy when he won his 4 (1x MX2 and 3x MXGP) titles.

Some people just look for reasons to hate riders and that's kinda sad considering the show they are putting on for us all, week in, week out

And just as a silly retort...

How many titles has Herlings won against a healthy Gajser?
To save you looking it up, it's zero...

This season has been awesome and whoever wins will have fully deserved it because of the quality of the riders. Herlings knows it because he said so in the press conference, Prado has also referenced how awesome it would be to win what would be the toughest title in years. Gajser knows it too.

It's a great season and I cant wait to watch it unfold

I'm not a hater of any rider, not even Friese lol, it just seems like such a double standard. Dungey always caught a bunch of crap because he never beat a healthy RV, and it's true, but Gajser seems to get a pass for some reason.

GP MX2 dude, Gajser was never in the same league as Herlings until MXGP.

So which title then? Just name the year...

And just for the record, I agree, Jeffrey was better in MX2 than Tim, his wins prove it (he is also 2yrs older). I was just pointing out how stupid Jeffros comment about Tim never beating a healthy Jeffrey was

Yeah it's hard to win a title against a healthy Herlings when he was only healthy in maybe 1 out of the last 10 seasons... Which MXGP title did Herlings win against a fully healthy Gajser?
