Honestly it would be cool to have a blue plate again, it is a prestigious stuff. It was looking sick back then, and it would reward the rider that had the best season. In addition, with Roczen being twice second, that would really show how great he rode all season.

Bring it back. It's another way to add statistics and commentary to a series and a year. Allows for more highlights of the rider and their year overall. Adds color (literally) to the track. Becomes another thing to be proud of. Gives manufacturers credit even if their rider is not series points leader. Only positives. No negatives. Keep some history alive.

Bring it back it doesn't even need to be a championship just a table on a website that gives the leader bragging rights of being the faster all round guy in America and plus is easier to see who been consistent across the whole season

Why isn't the a combined points table? So he's was the best all round guy this year in America. Hear that you Webb supercross fan boys...

Who fought through the struggles of their respective seasons? Webb or Roczen?
I Eli is the one who struggle the most and pulled it out at the end there. I don't know what your getting at? Kenny had a great indoors and outdoors Webb had agreat indoors and horrible outdoors season

The pulp link is cool

If there were a Combined champion
Marvin, Andrew Short, and Tim Ferry would all have premier class championship
RV/RD who was better? Dungey already has one more title than RV, add in a combined championship and RD has 3 more championships than RV

That's really cool. A difficult title for sure. So the "grand national" champs since 1999 have been:

2014 Dungey

2016 Roczen
2017 Tomac
2018 Musquin
2019 Tomac
2020 Tomac
2021 Roczen (leads Tomac by 36 so Tomac could mathematically take it)

I'd be keen to see a return of the blue & yellow plate. Probably requires Wrangler to come back as a series sponsor...

That is a lot of RC. His dominance was amazing.

It’s not invented. They used to do it, for many years. They would crown the biggest points earner for the year.

They only did it for 2 years. It caused a lot of controversy between the AMA and the race promoters.

Vital: Shits on dudes for being SX only and not racing BOTH series.

Also Vital: Shits on Kenny for being the combined best at BOTH series because it "doesn't matter"

Got it.

Me too.

Stew 2nd in 2002, 2006. Shows how consistent you need to be to grab that title. Hats off to Roczen if he tops the list for 2021.

By all means, it’s been a good season for Kenny. He’s going to have raced in every round. He’s won a lot of races. He is going to cash a ton of win bonuses and two podium bonuses for each series.

There can only be 1 winner in each series but to go 2-2 or even 2-3 this year in both series is his best finish since getting hurt.

I think he is absolutely still a SX title threat next year and will probably again get top 3 outdoors. That’s awesome.

Everyone can’t be RC.

Tomac is going to be close to that blue plate all of a sudden. Hope Roczen is okay.

I'm far from a Roczen nut hugger, but think it would be a cool addition if it were brought back.

Not taking anything away from DF14 or what he accomplished this year outdoors. He put on a great show all season. The guy is an absolute beast of a fighter... like guys of yore. Huge fan of his and Star Racing.

That said, it would be cool to bring back a blue plate, and doing so wouldn't take away from either DF14's or Webb's accomplishments. Just my opinion......

Only four guys managed to finish both series. Roczen pulled out of the last moto but we will give him a pass since he still beat everyone....

But not a real fur coat, that’s cruel.

As for Kraft dinner, we would just eat more. Kraft dinner, a Canadian staple!
