The industry had every right to imagine Hill was smoking it up with j-law since they were tight. Cant blame societal norms 🤷🏻♂️
All in all i think steve defended himself respectfully when I think he knows he could have mentally smoked him.
Here's a video he made with Malcom Stewart, Matt Moss and others:

It's on the parents to make sure the kids are listening to appropriate content, not on podcasters to cater for children.
If you are talking about teenagers....i guarantee they have heard a lot worse
Simple fact is, these podcasts are not targetted at small kids.
If this was Dora the explorer dropping C bombs, I would agree with you. but it is not, so i dont
Personally Jase is way to much of a Scenester Bro for me but I like his show and I like how he dives deep with his guests. There is room for everybody.
2- As an interviewer, it drives me nuts to listen to how long Jase goes on and on and on to set up a question... basically to the point that the riders can just repeat what he says. No wonder some of these riders like him, because he is handing them a response without them having to come up with it themselves. It just seems to make the interviews twice as long as they need to be.
It's a basic tenet of the MX interviewer (1) that he has to explain his question to his guest. This is possibly true when the guest has the IQ of a cumquat. When we a listening to a star racer however, someone we really want to hear from, it gets really annoying when the interviewer won't SHUTUP !!!!
Let him answer the question already !!
1. There are exceptions . . .
Pit Row
I can usually listen to Ping’s stuff without offending anyone, but wouldn’t even try a gypsy podcast at all.
Not a prude, but when every other word is the f bomb it usually is a sure sign of an inarticulate, immature person.
The constant interruption of the guests and his ever present need to somehow relate every topic to jiu jitsu just reinforces that.
It almost seems like Ping’s game really stepped up when Langston left or wasn’t there. Langston had a habit of trying to finish sentences of the guest, and it sounded like it threw off Ping’s rhythm as well. I think that in the Doug Henry episode it seems like there were at least a dozen times where GL tried to finish DH’s sentences and Henry had to correct him with what he was actually going to say. Ping seems to have a good amount of patience to let the guest tell his story while still being interested to keep the conversation percolating and lively.
Gypsy, not much of an interviewer. Sometimes seems like he thinks that he’s the guest and needs to focus everyone’s attention on him. I would say, however, that if I were forced to listen to either Gypsy or Cooksey &Coach for a couple of hours every day for 10 days I’d choose Gypsy 10/10 over Coach’s macroeconomic misunderstandings, his ‘executive decisions’, his ‘meat on the bone’, and his total misrepresentation of what glass ceilings are……
Not to mention C&C’s quest for eternal martyrdom……
Its like when Kenny Watson left the Pulp MX show, they were good with him, but the show grew without him into something better,
And his justification for Hopper's crap was a bridge too far.
Some of Jases are good and some are shit, just like every other podcast out there.
He has a big following her in Australia and is helping the sport out and getting people back onto bikes again or even just spectating
