jesus. go read his own post. he explains how he was replaced without even being told or given chance to explain he was NOT exposed...and yes it was over being replaced for this last race (not the season) and yes he then quit.

Why is everyone who doesn't want to subject themselves to a vaccine that does not have full FDA approval an anti-vaxxer? I know plenty of people who get a flu shot every year but haven't taken the Covid jab. Does that make them anti-vaxxers or does it make them people who are cautious about the drugs they put in their bodies?

As someone who is vaccinated and would like to see others get vaccinated…The overzealous pro-vaccine people are the absolute worst (calling people anti-vaxers….flat earth..etc).

In fact you could argue those attacking others for not wanting to get vaccinated are causing folks to be more resistant to the shot.

Jeff goes out to do his job and gets booed, he's probably thinking "eff me, it's Vegas '95 all over again!"



I thought he did a great job and I really enjoyed hearing him again. Add that to the epic Loretta's rides on the 150 and this is turning into the summer of Fro!!

This Fro/GL situation is similar to the current vaccine scenario. Not much in the way of sources that can be verified. I think both have done/do a great job. Was curious if I read it correctly that all SX/MX will be on Peacock? May shake up the broadcast crew again.

Bottom line is that GL quit and Fro who has plenty of experience and did a great job with SX broadcasts stepped right in. Hope he has a shot for the permanent gig next year. I like Grant also but it sounds like he got his feeling hurt more than anything but sounds like he was over it if he was done at the end of the year anyway. I just hope they don't get RC Blush

I love it when people say "He was over it" as an excuse to why he quit. There were absolutely no rumblings that GL would not be there next year. He was at the top of his game and only getting better.

Personally I think people say that that have never had convictions and don't understand what it means to stand firm in your beliefs. Because they can't imagine taking a stand they need to find alternative reasons.

That is what GuyB reported here on Vital that Langston was done at end of season so take it for what its worth. If he un-quits and is back next season that is cool too but Emig would do a outstanding job also.

if he wasn’t over the job, it’s a pretty weird hill to die on. no mandate, just a weekend off to make sure all TV staff stays healthy and back on the next. didn’t have to go down this way

Their has been plenty of “rumblings” weege gave a statement on one of the matthes podcasts, he basically said GL has talked about it for awhile, stating the travel as a big concern among other reasons. As stated earlier in the thread GuyB reported it as well.

Yeah, I won't argue with a retard, but the ENTIRE CREW was considered exposed because members of the crew were exposed.

Unvax + potentially exposed = week off out of caution (FOR THE EXPOSED PERSON AND OTHERS)
