I´ve wondered about this for a while, when was the last time Red bull KTM actually picked someone up from the MX2 class in to their team? Is musquin the last one or do I miss someone? Herlings, Roczen, Jonass, Prado, all heavily KTM supported guys from before their transition to the MX2 division.

Gajsers MX2 championship has to sting for KTM Tongue . If you dont count that, KTM has won every mx2 championship since 2008, thats quite insane.

Roczen's maiden season in MX2 was on a Suzuki, I think 2010. In 2011 he was on the KTM and became worldchampion.
2009 was his debut season & if I remember correctly, that Suzuki kept on breaking down in 2010.
True, he came in halfway the 2009-season. Lot of points lost indeed. I can remember a broken chain aswell.

Prado is rumored to be leaving the austrian squad to maybe ride a blue/black machine in 2022!

Pretty sure KTM is cutting back to just one factory team. Which would mean no more de carli I guess? So Prado, and cairoli would be looking elsewhere. I think? Could be way off

I think I read it on MXvice that the DeCarli side may be going to Gas Gas
With Nestaan taking over the Husky team
Ice one taking over Kawasaki

I think that Cairoli and Prado arent friends like when Prado arrived to the team and Cairoli always been with claudio.
I dont know if the atmosphere is that good in the carli team.
Anyways i like to see Prado on a japanese bike .

Latvia Moto 1 showed Prado and Tony not jelling to well together. Last year there where also a couple off those moves, where you could feel there is some fire underneath.

I definitely could see Prado wanting to change teams, in house with Cairoli and DiCarli must be sometimes not that easy..

Would like to see him go to the US and give the 250 a shot!

Prado is a huge talent, wherever he ends up I’m sure he will do well.

Perhaps it’s more realistic that the big talent Prado is snatched away by Monster, making it impossible for him to stay at KTM. On to blue or green with him!

If Prado goes to US and Monster same time.. Kawasaki has Anderson and Adam.. Yamaha is more than full..
If Monster isnt happening KTM /Husky also full. Gasgas could take him to run with Barcia?
I could see him most likely IceOne Kawasaki with Febvre in MXGP.

Febvre is also negotiating with Husqvarna.
I don't think that Kawasaki will invest in 2 TOP riders.

I've yet to see any Prado to USA rumors. It would be nice if you could provide the sources for that claim.

Why Would Prado want to race in the USA? World champion is far superior than a regional series....

Kawasaki with Ice one its a good move IMO.
Incredible structure and very profesional.
With Raiokenen being the owner of the team i dont think money is a problem with the posibilty of had a rider fighting for de world championship plus monster want to win and kawasaki too.

Why would Febvre leave where he is now
Looks like he has the bike how he likes it
Carving the corners like the old yam days

Quality of life, racing/being/living in very safe areas. Go listen to the Lawrence Brothers on the Whiskey Throttle Show and you’ll understand. These guys go to some rough parts of the world in the MXGPs while the guys in the United States go to some very safe and rural areas. Then in SX they visit some beautiful and fun cities, most of which are still very safe. They may go to a few high crime rated cities but the riders themselves are still very safe.

I won’t even bite in your regional comment. It’s so dumb it’s not even worth a response.

Quality of Life? living in very safe areas? Europe is far from being a shithole, you are making it look like he lives in central America or Subsaharan Africa.

Nope. I absolutely am not. I know there are beautiful and very safe parts of Europe. Those areas and tracks aren’t the problem. There are a few places that these riders DO NOT like going to.

I’m gonna take Jett and Hunters word for it rather than some dude on the internet. Other riders who have come here to race have mentioned it as well.
