This is the Original, Puch MC250, any others are just imitators.

Whilst window shopping last weekend, I fell in love with the Gas Gas.
The YZ,s are very dark looking, to me anyway.
I,m still not a fan of the blue rims.

Neither. For a new 2t it would definitely be a TM.

So you buy your bikes based on looks then?

I have a lot of experience with YZs and that engine is bulletproof. Yamaha all the way for me.

I know I'll get down-voted, because Yamaha finally updates the 2-Strokes and I'm complaining, but... Yamaha managed to make the new 125 and 250 "look" about 30 pounds heavier than the previous 16+ year design.

I agree, maybe silver rims and a silver coloured seat? IDK.

I thought the same thing. The Yamaha just looks dark and bulky, whereas the GasGas looks sleek and aggressive. (Just my .02 strictly from an aesthetic perspective)

The blue of the yz is the same blue as the yzf's. It looks dark in the photos but I think looks awesome in real life.

As for which bike, I'd take the YZ. Set the sag and race it

I voted Yamaha because Im a Yamaha guy and there's been some updates...if it was still exacly the same as previous years, I would choose the red bike.
I would really like to try the Husqvarna with that lower suspension and Im not afraid of the air forks.
I would absolutely love to put a lot of laps in on both, back to back..

Different photo than the official release pictures. Bike looks not quite as dark?

This is the Original, Puch MC250, any others are just imitators.

Im not sure that I like it..

The airbox to side-panel looks awkward.
The black fuel tank section beneath the rad scoops looks weird.
And the black section of seat cover doesn't tie in to any other panel- its simply weird they chose to put that black panel on the seat cover.

That said, it wouldn't be enough alone to put me off buying one as they're a great bike! My best mate just got his 2021 a couple months ago.
