Deegan is 15 now ? and on a supermini, next year 125 he`s 16, year after 250B then 250A. He will be 19 when he is going pro. Pado is 20 now and has 2 world championships. Roczen was batteling for race wins when he was 15 in mx2 herlings the same. i guess some is just little later than others. BUT i like him dont get me wrong.
He's on a 125 now. And, I don't know how you rate people, but just because someone isn't progressing as fast as Ken Roczen or Jeffrey Herlings doesn't make them a failure in my book.

This. Is that kid ever gonna get off that supermini? Jesus. I had already raced a 450 when I was his age.

Lol, chill dude. I’m just excited to see Deegan on a 250f and thought it would have happened by now. That’s all.
Lol. You're talking shit about a 15 yr old on the internet. I asked you a question. You chill.

I get not rushing these kids and burning them out but when you're too big for the bike, that I don't get. Ryder D didn't seem to hang around on an 85 too long though. He jumped to a 250 as soon as he could

I think brian deegan is taking the safe route by keeping him down a class and letting the faster kids join the pro ranks before him so that guarantees a good ride when turning pro. Let's say theres 2 kids smoking him an there all turning pro same year then he may not get a ride or atleast the best option.
Also to add, his contract with KTM is up this year. Seems like he won't be moving forward with KTM again so, it did not make a ton of sense to jump on a KTM 250 and then jump bikes a few months later.

On today's live stream Brian says he will be moving up to a 250 right after Lorettas.

So what if Roczen & Herlings we’re pro at 15, look at them now Roczen with 2 (3?) years recovering, Herlings has had a crap couple of years too so IMO no rush

Davi Millsaps raced his first pro race like 6 days after turning 16, Stew won a few weeks after turning 16. The days of “turn the phenoms loose as soon as they turn 16” are over unfortunately.

Davi and Bubba were Supercross testing their factory 125s at Deegans age. He’s too busy making vlogs on a mini bike

Most of those people burned out by 26. I’d rather see pros racing into their 30s with longer careers, than pressure teenagers into harming their body earlier with harder training, more intense and longer racing. 18-20 is a great age to start diving into supercross and the longer motos of pro MX. No more homeschool on the side, a couple more years of maturity, etc. I fail to see the point of pushing kids earlier just so we can pump them up as a “phenom” to get old dudes gushing.

Davi and Stew were going strong until head injuries ended their careers

Being angry at a 15 year old for still riding a super mini is laughable.

Back in the day they were riding 80 experts until they were 16. Eric Kehoe was riding 80 expert and 125 intermediate at 16, same with Holland.
