He will be up front soon. He just needs a start and a little taste of the speed of the front runners. I'd say he wins round 6 with a 3-1.

I love all of the thumbs down on posts. Basically a bunch of keyboard ninjas who disagree with anything slightly positive or that makes sense about forkner. Why not just say what you feel instead of hiding on the down vote?

The kid is fast, he will rebound and be fine. Been through hell and back. I’ll laugh when everyone who wrote him off watches him mature and start to excel like he always has done. Each person will be a new fan like those who hated Reedy until his latter years and then say everyone will miss him when he is gone.
Nobody is hiding behind downvotes. Pretty much everyone is saying they don't much like Forkner. No one denies his talent. Kid isn't very likeable. At least...

That is one interesting take. Start combing through the thread and you will see otherwise with the downvotes. You have quite the opinion on the guy, have you ever spoken to him?

I didn’t get to see the whole broadcast but did something happen to Forkner?

My opinion on Forkner you mean? No never met him just going by interviews and social media. He doesn't come off very good. I've heard he's great with fans and young kids though. I have a very high opinion of his ability if that means anything. Every race I been looking for him to break out.

They said he was dealing with a thumb issue on the broadcast. Definitely a rough outdoor for Austin, hopefully he can turn it around later in the season. No matter what people think of him, the racing is always better with more contenders so hopefully we can see him getting back in the mix in the future.

He was pretty funny on the Weege wrap up show. It makes sense to stay with Mitch. But at the same time a change would be good.

You'd better deliver, and quick.
Considering Austin has been hurt like the last 5 years and keeps getting chances this is not a real accurate statement

When the highlight of your day is crashing on Larocco's leap. You might need to dig deeper.

Sometimes your digging too deep and need to chill and stick with the “process”.

In other words, none of us know what he is dealing with etc. take Eli for example. This game is extremely mental.

He ate shit in a huge way on the Leap. No way any of us would be racing after that digger. He also had organs removed last year. Give him some time.....

Interesting to me that so many dislike Austin...he was just acting like Jett before Jett.

I admit though that Jett knows how to do it much better.

I actually like Austin. But I liked Hannah too.

Austin and Jett are absolutely nothing alike. Forkner came off as an arrogant little shit when he was jetts age. Jett is humble, Austin is ignorant

I like Austin and Jett. Being brash is part of being a racer in my view.

Jett is 8 races away from being a national champion at 17. Forkner is about 8 bad races away from losing his ride.

Anyone catch the RacerX Red Bud review with Matthes, Weege and Blair?

On there, Matthes spoke of a rumour from a good source (not a carrot in ear person) that Forkner might be heading to a 450 for 2022 and that Kawasaki would have 3 450 riders in 2022. Something about his contract having conditions in it for timing and departures from the 450 team (Tomac). Blair indicated he had been hearing similar things.

I've put a link to the podcast here, on my podcast player the Forkner discussion starts at around the 1:17 mark.

Watch the weege post race show. He explains why and it’s comical. Honestly casing something like that is what most riders have nightmares about. Imagine stock suspension 🥴 but to have the wherewithal to try and get his right hand back on the throttle is impressive

Exactly what impressed me. He had the wherewithal to grab the bar after the force ripped it away. That’s nuts. Glad he wasn’t hurt too badly. Really would like to see him stay healthy and reach his potential (whatever that may have been???).
Truthfully would like to see all these guys stay healthy and reach their true potential. Brutal sport. Almost saddens me sometimes.
Can’t stand to watch other sports where they fake injury.

Mitch must be pumped. There has literally been zero improvement since pala? Even his high point result was skewed by the fact Mosiman and j mart weren’t there. Not to mention j mart is half broken, crashed both motos and still rode past him from the back

How bad did Mitch not want Mitchell Harrison as a fill in. You would think with only Shimoda carrying the team he would have wanted another bike in the truck.
