Been running the Battlecross X40 in the rear and Battlecross X-30 in front.
Riding at So Cal tracks on a YZ250 smoker. Always had a problem with Dunlops wearing so fast. Are the new Dunlops any better? The Bridgestones def wear well and very predictable in most conditions.

I used to run the same x30/x40 combo on my yz250. I liked the x40 in most conditions other than sand or mud. The x30 front however had kind of a vague feeling. Switched to a Maxxis MX ST and it is better than the x30 in any condition from sand to hard pack.

If you can, add the riding conditions you are riding in.
And x30's front and rear on my Off Road racer.
I cant make a comparison to other brands as this is literally the only tire I've ran the last 5 years. But Im happy with the wear I get and the performance. The x20 is great when the track is soft & loamy. When it dries out and things get slick Im less happy and it starts to wear fast but that's more a function of the wrong tire for the job.
I get 20-25 hours out of a set of x20's riding VERY well prepped tracks.
Yep, been running the same X30 front, X40 rear set up on my KX450 and KX500 for a couple of years now.
I'm pretty picky with my tires and change them more often than other people i'd imagine. I can get about 15-17 hours out of the x20's when the dirt is softer, a little less if the tracks dry up. I go about 12-15 hours on X30's throughout the summer time. When i ran Dunlop MX32's i'd only get about 8 hours until either a knob chunked or the traction really started getting sloppy to the point i'd feel less confident, so they didnt last long for me. Dunlops definitely wear faster but they also may have a hair more grip when brand new.
For a guy like me who rides pretty often but doesn't race so much, the Bridgestones are a great choice for long, consistent wear and performance.
Here's a clip of me from Sunday with a X20 front and X30 rear. Both tires do very well in intermediate/dry conditions. I stretched out my x20 usage a little into the hotter season just to see how far towards intermediate terrain it would handle. It does very well in intermediate terrain as well and even gives you some hints of confident in the occasional hard packed.
In the future I may order as set of the X20's and try them next if they have the same wear as the X30's and grip more like the MX3s.
