Chael Sonnen once said "you didn't get worse, the new generation got better"
Tough to say, but could this relate to Eli Tomac? Is Sexton, AC, Ferrandis etc. just faster?
Either way, it is wierd to see, I dont like seeing him in 10th

It’s him and the bike feeling/team not getting it done.

Eli will eventually get a win..
AC obviously is making the bike work!
Pit Row
I've seen it all..
And Eli's pretty good, too.
There have been many riders who , on their day , were the fastest guys out there by miles, but that day was a wednesday, and they never turned it into championships, Robbie Reynard springs to mind, such a talent, who just never quite lived up to the expectations others had.
Tomac is what we call a Daisy rider... some days he does, some days he doesnt. , but the difference between an 'on Tomac, and an 'off' Tomac used to be obvious ... now we dont know cos he hasnt been on for quite a while.
I think a small percentage of him has thrown the towel in with Kawi. He will try and stay top 10 to just ride out the rest of the season. Whatever is going on with Eli and Kawi must be fairly serious. Leaving an open checkbook deal says it all right there.
Regardless of his last last outdoor championship, I don't think he's ever been THAT comfy on the bike and its created a ton of issues between him and the Kawi team. Plus the 2 motor failures in the same season.
Maybe Kawi has also sort of thrown the towel in on him as well.
Well all know no one really works that hard when they are on their 2 week notice. Especially for an employer they can't stand anymore.
