Not sure if this is the correct place for this and maybe its been posted before but.....I copied and pasted.

Like riding in Moab?
Southern Utah Wilderness Alliance is trying to shut down 330,000 acres of current motorized recreation in the Labyrinth Rims/Gemini Bridges Special Recreation Area right outside of Moab.

Want to continue riding this unique, one-in-the-world area?

It takes 2-3 minutes to make your voice and the voice of other motorized users heard. Click Here:

https://eplanning.blm.gov/eplanning-u...

Look to the left side where it says Participate Now highlighted in green.
Scroll all the way to the right and click Participate Now again, highlighted in green.

Follow through the submission process and urge BLM to retain this wonderful recreation area. Deadline is APRIL 26

I'm sure most here don't ride moab regularly, and may never ride there, ever...but its still in your best interest to speak up on this...if they (greenies/government) can close our favorite trails...they can close yours.

The moto community needs to stick together on this, be vocal, and participate.

Done.

Thanks for sharing.

Everyone, PLEASE take 2 minutes to send them a paragraph about why it's important to you, as a responsible OHV user, that these trails stay open. Don't be afraid to mention the money you bring to the local economy when you visit and recreate in places like this as well.

Done. There's enough "wilderness" out there; let's keep the available space we barely have!

Should get a bunch of riders together and go do some wheelies around their town.

Eco fascists should focus on teaching their peers how to properly dispose of their feces while camping.

Sick of these fascist fuckers, they are everywhere.

Damn that's right in my backyard. I wrote a paragraph basically saying they need to work on a trail system with proper signage and the area will thrive.

Thanks for sharing. Grew up riding that area with my dad every spring break. Would be a huge disappointment to see this riding area disappear. The first time i went I was young enough to ask my dad if this was dirt bike heaven? Recommend riding White Wash Sand Dunes to all. It pains me to read that there is even a thought of shutting down this area. It is super remote and the liklihood of it ever being used for something besides ohv is almost 0.

I'll probably never take a motorcycle all the way to Moab, but I sure as heck am going back with my MTB to ride The Whole Enchilada! All it takes is one know-nothing bureaucrat to ruin that town for all forms of recreation. who knows when they'll say no to all "mechanized" access. Fuck those people. There are places for responsible recreation and places for conservation.

Please don't do this. THIS is Exactly what they want. Radical motorcyclists to prove their point. Sit back and think of a rational family oriented reply. Slavens has some great ideas on his site. This is going to be exacerbated in this current administration. Beat them with Brains,.....and Facts and Common sense. Please.

Damn those are some of my favorite places to ride the KLR, awesome 4x4 roads it would be a shame for no access to that area.

I submitted a paragraph explaining my love for the area, then read the press release. I'm confused, it sounds like they are just trying to get input on the area, it didn't really mention closures unless I don't know how to read between the lines..
https://eplanning.blm.gov/public_projects/2001224/200479500/20036865/250043062/Press%20Release%20Labyrinth%20Rims%20Gemini%20Bridges%20TMP.pdf

Travel and transportation are integral to the use and enjoyment of public lands. The Bureau of
Land Management (BLM) is initiating an Environmental Assessment (EA) analyzing motorized access of
public lands in the Labyrinth Rims/Gemini Bridges Travel Management Area (TMA), which covers
approximately 303,993 acres in Grand County and has 1,232 miles of inventoried routes on BLM-managed
lands. The EA will help BLM to provide a motorized transportation network to serve visitors and local
communities, while protecting and sustaining natural resources. The BLM is scoping for additional information,
issues, or resource concerns in the Labyrinth Rims/Gemini Bridges area March 24, 2021 through April 26,
2021.
The BLM posted an interactive map of the TMA to seek public input regarding knowledge and use of roads in
the Labyrinth Rims/Gemini Bridges area. Using this information, the BLM worked with state and county
government representatives to complete route evaluations. The EA will address topics related to motorized
travel, including recreation, cultural resources, wildlife and fisheries habitat, soils and water quality, and
wilderness characteristics. The BLM is now seeking additional public input, which may be used in formulating
issues and alternatives in the environmental review.

Yes they are asking for input...but the southern utah wilderness alliance is doing everything they can to control the narrative and convince the BLM that everyone wants it closed and that OHVs are destroying the land (blah blah blah...it’s basically all slick rock, sand, and washes...ohv’s aren’t destroying it)...so we need to speak up to make sure both sides are heard. That is the point of the thread.
