Anderson under review?

I enjoy Anderson’s approach to racing. He knows he races hard and aggressive and fully expects people to race him the same way.

He’s made similar comments in the past after incidents with Brayton and Reed.

That was 2014 at A3, we were sitting right above it. I don't think Anderson did anything outrageous from memory, but Malcolm hammered him pretty good. Could have been bad if someone in front of them was coming down the lane Anderson ended up in.

That year, JA was in the title fight with Seely on the west coast series. He had already gotten the better of Seely 2x on the last lap, I always looked at that incident with Malcolm more as though the entire TLD team was pretty tired of Anderson punking them.

Alright, I stand corrected. In the highlights reel it Anderson's take out of Mookie doesn't look that harsh. In the live event, it looked worse, as Mookie's bike took a jolt. I'd love to hear the 2 riders comment on the events.

Anderson made a clean pass so Malcolm gets mad like a 12 year old and straight up takes out Anderson. Apparently same thing happened Saturday.

They were both tough passed but not ridiculous. El Hombre showing flashes of his old self. I think Diffey probably had someone chirp the under review business into his ear and he regurgitated it into his mic.

Actually, if that’s the attitude Stewart is owed some more hard racing and Plessinger should give Anderson some space to prevent two bad races.

By definition, that’s an excuse to CYA.

It is so surprising and unexpected when at race speed, you somehow “hook-up.”

About as surprising as riding a two stroke and hitting the power band for the first time.

It seems this year the riders really don't want to hit eachother, like their scared of punishment. Or do they have more respect for eachother? Just seems everyone is way too nice.

Had Malcom's square up been successful I feel like it could have been like borderline assault lol. JA21 would have absolute been whipped into the concrete. Malcom should consider himself lucky it didn't work due to the possible repercussions of a move made in a state of anger.

Anderson looked good all day! My wife actually pointed it out during 2nd qualifying that he was riding like "Old Jason". Riding loose and flowing around the track.

His passes (albeit aggressive) were clean. Seemed like most guys struggled to pass and he was just willing to make it happen on a night when most wouldnt...

Also - pretty awesome that he tossed me his podium goggles on the way back down the tunnel after podium interviews were done. The look on his face was priceless and you can really tell what wins and podiums mean to these guys when you see it up close and first hand....

If he'd have got it "right" he'd have hit JA in the left leg. At full throttle. Something would have broken, and you are right, that's damn near assault and battery.

I am not buying the "it hooked up on me" explanation, although I did think that when I saw it live. Replay made me think different.

I'm certain Mookie was trying to lay some serious paint on Anderson and the bike got away from him, and in all honesty it did look like his bike legitimately "hooked up" with serious traction. I think that made it look worse than it was. Anderson's pass on Mookie was a non-issue, it was perfectly executed. Mookie has no reason to go after Anderson.
Anderson's pass on Ferrandis IMO wasn't dirty either but is worthy of equal retaliation (i.e. not to injure but definitely to take him down during tonight's race).. No harm no foul, if Ferrandis gets him back. Neither were dirty by any means. Just hard racing on a track that was hard to gain time or pass on. Again, if people get Anderson back by "racing him hard", then so be it. No whiners.

Under review? Sure looks like it now... If he hadn't blasted down there, they wouldn't be bothered with it since there were no other riders anywhere near him at that point. But...
