Sand between those 2 wall jumps would be awesome but we won't get that lucky. I'd be thrilled if we just at least get whoops that I couldn't skim in my fk'in wheelchair.
How about whoops where jumping was obviously slower?
The track maps this year all have the whoops in a familiar configuration... Toward the center of the track with 4-5 sections of the track on either end shortening it down to a few bumps that these guys just jump through in 2 or 3 touches.

JG33 had just come back to fill in for Yamaha and I remember watching him get bucked off hard and I was thinking he had to be wondering why in the hell he came back. Also I remember the 250 guys struggling except for Zombie Blose, who was just hammering through them every lap.
Fuck, that was my last live race.
Hell just leave one of these out there during the race lmao.
I know it's basic, but down and back with big bowls on the ends and one set of 90s on the end sweeping around make the best racing. The "creative" layout isn't going to create passing and ruins the passing spots.
As someone who has studied track design, the fact I can see a picture and see it's broken really sucks. The dudes who build these things are good at what they do in so many ways, so I just don't understand why they won't deliver good passing tracks. Is an "interesting" layout more important than good passing? Is passing bad for the show? (honestly asking?)
If they want "close racing" but follow the leader, but just "train" like an FMX course, they are doing it. And maybe in their goal for a show that is what they want. If so, it's their product, not mine and they are nailing it.
I do love Tuesday SX, I'll tune in. I hope I am wrong. The whoops picture excites me and reminds me of my AX days. Hopefully they can't hop through and I pray they don't roll them to nothing before the night show.
