Rc was saying how mentally strong Cooper is.... but it seems quite the opposite.... Cooper is like barca, only fast when he wants to be..... he has to screw with people in practice to help get an upper hand... he took his Yamaha 450 seasons off, not exactly mentally strong there...
You must really hate Webb. His trash talk is just one arrow in his quiver. He has a lot of tools at his disposal to beat his competitors. Webb is a straight up gamer.

I cannot fathom how anyone can look at Webb and not acknowledge what an incredible talent he is. Like him or not....you're in denial if you don't see the sheer amount of skill Webb has. Is he always the fastest...no (that seems to be changing)....but he sure as hell makes up for that in race-craft (Good grief, I said the two words that cause people to go into meltdown).

Not to mention, the guy is tough as nails. To come back a week after that crash in Arlington last year and podium.

You have to admire the grit alone.

It's peculiar. Of course, if it weren't for DeCoster paying Feld off to build the whoops smaller, it'd be a different story....

If you have watched SX this season, Webb’s whoop speed has increased. Last week we was blitzing the whoops right up until the last lap or two and Roczen wasn’t gaining time on him.
You can NOT be serious! Kenny is clearly FASTER. Marv could have passed Webb but obviously, team orders were in place. If Bam hadn't been driving an 18 wheeler down the middle of the track, Ken would easily have won that race. C'mon man....

Team orders? Nah.

How do you know Webb wasn’t just cruising out front? He had the second fastest lap time qualifying, roczen had like 5th.

In main event,
Fastest lap:
Webb-49.46
Roczen-49.63

Lap time average in main:
Roczen-50.98
Webb-50.88

How could you possibly argue that?

Roczen came from 17th so his average lap time is pretty impressive.

Yeah for sure, not saying that it’s not impressive. You can’t say “he was obviously faster” though. Cooper got out front quick, and most likely cruised and conserved. If Kenny had the time to catch cooper in that main, I have no doubt Webb would have put the smoke down and no way would he have gotten passed. He was faster qualifying, and laid down a faster lap time during the main.... so wreckitrandy saying Kenny was “clearly faster” is just his fanboy goggles talking.

Impressive ride by roczen though either way.

Webb was clearly faster because they all started the race at the same time and he crossed the finish line first.

Speed = distance/time

Since Webb crossed the finish line first, he had the least amount of time, which also means he had the most speed. There is no other viable solution. It’s pretty simple. The winner is always the fastest, unless there is cheating involved or the rules are changed.

Even more important is the unsprung weight savings.

I’m not sure the shock spring counts as unsprung weight.

Deeply philosophical question, like the sound of one-hand clapping:
"Can it be the spring, but be unsprung?"
"When a spring springs, does it spring itself, too?"

At the risk of going "fan boi" for a moment. Indulge me.

Saw this awesome pic on the front page of Vital....

It says everything you need to know about Webb.

Despite the onslaught of chaos thrown at him, his head is down and he is charging....

Such a cool pic.

Ken--- I was riding super great, then lappers and super technical slippery track, blah, blah, blah.

Marv-- I don't know, something 10 minutes long saying something about something something, I didn't win

Barcia-- I'm super pumped to be on the Gas Gas Red Bull team...I could have won but I got a bad start and ran into 17
people on my way up through. I'll get them next time.....

Eli-- I got a 43rd place start and passed a ton of people, then made a small mistake in that corner, berm, sand section,
rhythm section, whatever. I should be winning, I don't know what's going on.

Webb-- I"LL KICK ALL YOUR ASSES!!

Don't get butt hurt, this was all in fun.. But it does say something honest about Webbs mentality compared to the rest. He comes to fight every singel time!

Wheel assembly, brakes and lines, sprockets, chain and part of the swing arm is considered unsprung weight. I do not think the shock applies. May be ML will step in and set us straight?
