Funny thing is, Justin was always known as the “grinder” of the two when they were coming up. The amount of laps he would do per day was stuff of legend. Funny how things change.

Impressive 450SX ride in Tampa.
If true, then In short it sounds like Justin had a ride, but couldn't agree on the terms of the contract. Sounds like he wasn't desperate for the money, so if he has the ability to walk away, then good for him.
Fun character, heat race winner potential.

But, it does seem like both of the Hill brothers bought into their own hype. They are both classic wasted talent. I guess neither saw the reason to put in the work because some things came easy to them...maybe a case of ego versus truth. Superior genes gone down the drain.
Both have been signed by teams based on potential for money invested...and I guess they've been booted for not measuring up to those expectations or promises.
Sad deal, really especially when some other riders who might have been more appreciative of the opportunity, or willing to do what was necessary to be contenders got passed over because of them getting the nod.
Seems that the Hill Brothers aren't the only thing that you are bitter about.
At least Justin was capable of qualifying out of the heat races...
But you just never know exactly what those two will do. Josh overall isn’t broke and is pretty well of financially, and Josh did extremely well with JGR, so essentially, they are just living life.
Plus he seemed more interested in promoting his music than the sponsors that were paying him at the time
