I just want to say....

How many here would give their left nut to be in Friese shoes....racing supercross and running with the big dogs week after week...scratching out a living doing what you love?

I know I would.

Respect.

It came up on my feed and I laughed. Sure, it would be great to be in Vince’s position. If I were though, I’d do things differently, namely not putting riders on the ground every time I’m on the track.

Surely you don’t really believe that his intentions are to put people on the ground purposely.

Funny meme BTW

Funny enough, the one and only race I got to take part in against the top guys in the world on ATVs was Montréal SX. I fractured my wrist in practice, crashed in the whoops in the heat and finished 2 laps down(got stuck under the quad). I thought I had held up Thomas Brown and went to his trailer after to apologize, he told me I was the best lapper out there and the only one who didn’t. If I can get a whole ass quad out of the way on a tighter SX track than what these guys are on, Vince can get a 2 foot wide dirtbike out of the road. It’s not that hard if you just have a little awareness. He’s been doing it long enough now he should be able to.

How did your parents take the news that you ride atvs?

I expect a higher level of quad chirp from the members of this board. Do better.

I suppose that all depends on whether or not you'd rather race a dirt bike for a living than do what you presently do.

Me, I'm good, so I guess my left nut gets to stay put.

He rides hard, and I've seen him do a few dumb moves, but I've seen almost every pro on the gate do those same moves. Everyone seems to pick on Vince because he's not a top10 guy in the current talent pool, but he's out there trying and obviously he's doing something right, he's still doing it. I wasn't a fan years ago, but anyone that's out there giving it their best every week, making the mains and sometimes running towards the front...have to respect that.

Agreed. And he’s really cleaned up his act the last several years and has some legit finishes. This year has been pretty much off the rails though.

It ain’t got nothin to do with him not being a top 10 guy. And everything to do with a decade long pattern of some serious bonehead moves.
