Makes the most HP and Torque of all the 450's in stock form, I would suggest that with pipe and remap, you would get a little more but will be smoother, but hopefully Wadmaster11 can confirm

Yup, people do not realise what a amazing motor the Honda is after a quality remap (not just 2021 model), if you can get the chassis and suspension to your liking they are incredible, yes yes yes Honda should get it right in stock form, but hey no 450 is perfect, just some slightly better than others.

one day Honda will get that right from the showroom floor and win all the shootouts lol (maybe 2022?)

I wouldn't say wake it up. remap took care of the sputter and the pipe seems to move the power little more up top...pulls a little longer in each gear. Bike makes good power already and yosh and map made it better. slightly louder than stock. nice tone...

What size is the fitting going into the airbox you put the plug over? Since We already have a couple different size plugs wonder if we have the right size.

What ID and length of hose did you use to reroute it?

What are you Honda faithful seeing on need for top ends, bottom ends, valve adjustments/life, clutch, on the 17 and up 450 engines?

Serious question because I’m thinking of trying the new Honda. Currently on KTM and the durability is excellent and Delwest valves stock is hard to match.

The 17 CRF 450 I sold has 41 hours and the valves are still dead on from break-in, haven't moved.

136 hours on my 17 450, valves have never moved and still starts 2nd kill every time. Replaced the piston at 86 hours and could have ran it quite abit more still looked brand new. Had 90 hours on my rekluse radius cx and plates and fibers still looked great

I'm sure a few will call bullshit, but my 2007 had somewhere north of 300 hours on the original transmission and clutch. Usually do the piston and rings at 60 hours no matter what. Knock the glaze off the cylinder with a ball hone, slap it back together and rip. The unicam honda design has been very similar for the last 16 years. The early bikes pre 2009 had issues with the ti valves and incompatible valve seats from what I recall.

Didn’t get all my Christmas presents to myself bolted on yet, I was too excited to get out and ride. Need to install all the Hinson clutch stuff and install my Dubya Talon wheels with Hoosier tires yet. 😉👍

I just bought my 2021 CRF450 today. I installed a gold chain and red bar pad. Re routed the clutch hose between the bar and triple clamp, looks better and bar has full rotation. I only found one bike in Charlotte NC and my local dealer Brewer Cycles picked it up.
