I own a 2021 KTM 450SXF with an FMF 4.1 system installed and an aftermarket air filter cage with no backfire screen.
It's hard to compare Apples to Apples because there was no map switch on the Gas Gas, but if you compare map 1 in the KTM to the standard Gas Gas Map setting, they feel roughly the same out of the corner to me.
BUT - If you switch to Map 2 on the KTM it blows away the Gas Gas in low RPM acceleration out of turns with the FMF exhaust.
But that's just my opinion based on riding at one track. Kris Keefer is an experienced test rider for sure, but he is also just one tester with an opinion.

The KTM ends up with a very similar lower rpm torque curve to the Gas Gas, but the orange bike opens up significantly on top with 2 more peak HP above 6500 rpm.
