Happy Christmas Eve guys!

Having had a few surgeries over the past 2 years, I decided to hang up the boots for the foreseeable future (single income family).

With that said, both of my kids have bikes and I wanted them to still grow up with the same wonderful memories my wife and I were both blessed to have as a kid....they shouldn’t miss out just because dad couldn’t figure out how to keep the rubber side down!
After running every scenario, my wife and I decided we should get something that the whole family can enjoy while I can get that adrenaline rush back.....

It’s only been 24 hours, but hearing the excitement in my daughters voice every time she talks about going out to the desert has already made this purchase worth it.

I doubt anything will ever be able to replace the feeling of clicking in to 2nd while watching the 30 second board go sideways, but this will have to suffice for now!

I hope all of you and yours have a very Merry Christmas, and happy new year!

You made a great decision for your family brotha! Most people here haven't had the pleasure of driving the newest Can-am products. These things have some incredible power and handle like a cadillac. They still put a smile on your face, it's just a little different!

Helmets save lives, never trust a roll cage.

Nice rig and beautiful family. Who cares if its not 2 wheels guys post shit in here all the time that isn't 2 wheels. I've had several surgeries myself recently and am thinking of getting something with a cage. In my area I think a jeep may be more suited with all the trail systems fir off road vehicles having mud holes throughout the route. Good luck and a family that plays together stays together.

X3's are the bomb, congrats on your new ride. I'm thinking of the Maverick Sport max for my family to trail shred and mountain bike shuttle.

I figured the part where I said both my kids have bikes and will start riding more now that dad can chase them on something was moto enough...

I apologize for sharing what I thought was a cool story about my family getting back into the off road scene and wishing everyone a merry Christmas took up a single thread space.

None the less I still hope your Christmas is well, best of luck in 21’ my friend

dude... i was just joking around a little don’t get so offended, this place used to be fun to post on without everyones feelings getting hurt. Just to be fair though you posted about a side by side on a forum titled VitalMX in the “moto related” forum and there is a “non-moto” section to the forum as well .... 10 years ago you would have been brutalized by just about everyone but guess times have changed!

Have fun with it... she’s a beaut!

I’ll go check myself into time out since I am evidently being mean on the internet after having too much egg nog last night!

Fuck that guy. If he is miserable enough to waste his time commenting 3 times in a thread he doesn't like rather than just jumping out it's on him. Says a lot more about him than anything. Congrats on your new rig. Beautiful family, and Merry Christmas.

Congrats on the Canned-Ham! They are pretty awesome machines. I dig the tan color scheme that you got.

Ha, have fun and enjoy it bud!

Next you'll be throwing thousands of $$ at the new ride. Doors, roof, lights, spare tire rack, radio, etc.

They are fun. Most of the group we camp with have SxS's, only a few of us left on bikes.

Take care of the family, Merry Christmas

If you get a Jeep, PM me. I have a little local experience there Wink

The side by side boom is huge here.. While it is good for the industry (unless you are selling sport quads), a lot of the folks getting them don't understand unwritten rules, or even basic "stay on the trail" logic. They just want to go fast, tear shit up, do donuts, etc. I am all for it in open spaces such as dunes, but not in sensitive areas that folks are more than happy to shut down. So much stuff has been shut down over the past 40 years here, this goes honestly more for places to ride dirtbikes than anything else. People have to be smart to keep public lands open, the problem is, the local population is out of control and some of them are not smart. Perspective, I learned how to ride my 1983 CR60 where Microsoft campus now sits. That used to be a place called "80 Acres" and was like an amusement park for MX enthusiasts. For bikes, you are almost stuck to either riding on private lands, or at MX parks/tracks anymore, any public lands for riding you have to travel some distance for Sad

Anyway, get a Jeep, lots of fun to be had Cool

Hell yes. I want one of those, too.

Back when my daughter was a little smaller than yours, I had a Rhino. One week my wife was away so I took the week off and babysat my own kid. We went out for picnic lunches in the SxS almost every day. Those are memories I'll never forget!

Even though my kids ride bikes too...a SxS is a great way to be together on the trails. They love it!

Sucks someone has to be so rude on your purchase. Especially on Christmas Eve! Enjoy your new toy!!!
