Has Glendale been removed from the schedule? Yes.

The good news? Look for a full 17-round schedule to be released tomorrow.

Was Glendale going to have fans? Are all the current venues expecting to have fans?

Since State Farm Stadium is currently hosting two NFL teams (without fans, I believe), does this mean that Feld is not interested in trying to run their events without fans in 2021?

They’ve been looking at venues with at least 20% spectator capacity.

The truly fascinating part of all this, is not just finding a new venue - it's how they'll find a new venue, and still actually be able to call it a "west" round..

Or ditch the regional 250 championships and have one national SX 250 championship. They already give them points towards a national number...

I like the regions. For one, it means more teams and jobs. But also, about the time I start getting bored with the 450 series we get a fresh crop of 250 riders that is something new to look forward to. I do agree they shouldn't get points toward a national number, though.

I don't understand that agenda too. Some people don't get it and continue to push for this change.

No need to fix what is not broken. There are lots of other potential things that could be real improvements before:

1. mandatory rider protection (to make the kids wear them, increase that market so the innovation/quality),
2. merch in the pits, to help privateer and semi factory teams,
3. possibly a stocker 250 class (i.e. limited rpm, stocker suspensions, non factory tires),
4. possibly more protection on the track (nets, airbags?, more dirt to avoid crashes like cooper on his back),
5. radio communication from the race direction to the riders, (to avoid something like alessi in 08)
6. flat purse money to help privateer and semi factory teams, (i.e. 2k for everyone in the night show)
7. no entry fee for the riders (which in my opinion is ridiculous)
8. mandatory insurance for every pro rider
9. easier logistics, divide the cost per 2 to help privateers and semi factory teams,
10. more dirts from longer tracks (that would be less sketchy for the 450 main),
11. free live stream on youtube and facebook of all the races and practices (help the industry to grow significantly, not just the broadcasters to make a bit more coins)

And I am not even talking about a 250 class as the top class with the 125 as entry class. So changing the regional schedule while it is really exciting to watch to make it a 17 rounds championship where everything is decided from round 12 most of the time, that is really not urgent to fix.

So in reality, how many states can they really work in, maybe 4, FL, TX, LA, IN?

Love to see them bring one to Oklahoma. Close enough to Texas and I would think our governor would let it run.

They could do it in Lazy E with the right track design!

I have a feeling this is the first of many when it comes to schedule revisions. It will be a fluid schedule but I have hope.
