The amount of Fortune 500 companies that have moved from Cali to Texas is staggering. We love it. Down side is they bring liberal voters which we don't like.

Therein lies the problem. It’s akin to people moving to your neighborhood because the HOA at their last place had too much control and they wanted some freedom. Then, after a month of being there they decide to start an HOA in your neighborhood “for everyone’s benefit” and within 3 years they’ve made your neighborhood just as fucked as the one they came from.

Haha thank you for taking some of our spillover, but in 10 years Houston may be like San Francisco politically. This could be fun to watch.

YMUS didn’t move to Georgia, about 30 people in the Motorsport division did. But hey, don’t let me ruin your story.

The article below says the opposite of that.

Care to provide some clarity since the above source is inaccurate and you have the right details?

Patiently waiting....

You got me, it’s on the internet so it must be correct. Haha

The President of YMUS as well as the Legal, Accounting, HR, IT, Racing and Testing departments are all located in Cypress CA. Yamaha Motor Finance US is also in Cypress.

It’s also the location where I work everyday and have for years but like I said, don’t let me ruin a good story.

Leave it to the vital experts. Just like ping said on the WTS mitch Payton episode 2. Yet some people wonder why vital is the laughing stock of the mx community.

So you work for YMUS, or just in a shared location? I am generally interested in this, the article seems to be mainly speculation ("we imagine it will take some time.." yadda yadda). Does Star moving out east have anything to do with this information? Are they even considered YMUS in any fashion?

Pretty sure the Star Racing owner, Bobby Regan, is located in the South East, might have something to do with it.

I wouldn’t drag down Vital over one guy believing something he read on the internet. I can see how he would believe it, it’s got some truth to it. I was just trying to clear things up. No harm, no foul.

Plus it’s the off season, we must grade on a curve.

I seem to remember it being big talk on here, podcasts etc. when it was announced. I thought I remember hearing that everything was being moved except the racing department.

Apparently not. My bad.

California is an amazing place so I can see why they'd want to stay put. I'm always saying I'd move there if I could, seems like heaven on earth.

Yet it's pretty much the only mx forum left isn't it? All the other platforms like FB Instagram etc and Vital is still kicking. At least the guys in here actually ride and race. It's genuinely painful to hear the shit people say on some of the mx pages I follow on FB.

No worries and it’s easy to think everything moved reading those articles.

I wasn't raised in SoCal but love it here. The weather makes it all worth it this time of the year.

California, especially where I live, sucks in ways you can't even imagine in your worst nightmares.

Please do NOT take the risk and come here, even out of morbid curiosity- the weather, the mountains, the ocean, it's all just a hoax.

The floors of all the forests are not even vacuumed on a regular basis, so we have fires literally every day of the year in every city, also because the homeless are setting fires by burning ballots everywhere.

Believe what you hear about how bad life is here, it is everything you hear and WORSE.

Does anyone know this spot? 1 MX track, and 2 SX tracks just SW of Cairo. Looks to be about 1 mile SE of the Goatfarm. https://goo.gl/maps/jnnEn8YCApy8Bgpc9

I agree.

STAY OUT! It’s horrible here.

The people willingly leaving no doubt have the right idea. If you live in another state you should definitely stay put.

That is owned by MTF. It is located about a mile south of The GOAT Farm.

Some people eschew the Vitard label. Some people embrace it.

If you feel it's a laughing stock, I can help you exit gracefully, and save you some embarrassment.

On the other hand, there are threads like this... https://www.vitalmx.com/forums/Moto-Related,20/A-little-help-in-Sacrame…
