But i can understand the bike not suiting everybody. It doesn't have the torque and hit that some people like in bikes like the YZ450F or CRF450.
I see mx action built one but it have vertex ignition, race fuel, exhaust & all sorts. It would have been nice if they just tested the kit before adding all the extras.

The only magic going on here is in your head.
Trust me, My riding still gets me trophies damn near every race. Can you say the same?
Instead of worrying about my riding on the internet. Maybe you should do something to improve your own technique.
"Sorry to bump an old thread but looking for a little assistance.
I broke my collarbone 10 years ago and had a plate and 6 screws put in. No issues at all. A few weeks ago I re-broke the same collarbone and now I’m worried about the hardware being mangled in there. The hospital wasn’t much help. This time around, the pain of the bone isn’t bad but it was shifting around. I feel like it gets better and better everyday so I’m thinking of just letting it heal. For those of you that have re-broke your clavicle with hardware already on it, what did the docs do?"
Your responses just don't jive with what pretty much everyone else in media or on this thread has said about the 350 power. There are plenty of people who don't want to rev it that much and it makes sense they would want a 450 or whatever. I'm just providing my .02.
I agree with you, though. My technique got me in trouble on that one. I guess that flat, slow, trail bike of a 350 is too much bike for me.
Unless it is seriously displaced the best policy is always let it heal naturally. No big deal if your hardware is bent if it does not give you issue like Jason Anderson, then you have it removed down the road.
GL healing up.
Never called it a trail bike BTW. Anybody who as ever ridden a 400-500cc 2 stroke enduro bike knows they make enough power for motorcross. If folks find what they are looking for in the powerband on mx/sx Cudo's for them.
I'd bet 90% of us here aren't even capable of riding these above 12k on a track on a normal basis. Yeah, maybe the start straight in 2nd gear, but 3rd gear and up you'd have to be expert class to run it there often. They are amazing up there but I'm not good enough to stay there.
Below that it's a great all-round bike with a smooth torque curve, lacking the hit of the 450 class monsters. I'm too old for that much power anymore which is why I ride the 350.

You took the words right out of my mouth. Whole lot of fun.
Pit Row
The Vortex livens things up In the mortal-man part of the RPM range. A remap probably helps quite a bit for less money.
I rode a sand track yesterday and now have 8 hrs. on my '19 350SXF.
I have posted in this thread regarding my upgrades. All very cost effective.
I still have not added an exhaust system and don't know if I will.
The biggest improvement has been the ecu remap. (Twisted Dev.)
I have not lived with a 450 before so I can't say I have a valid reference point.
I get the style of power is different. I was worried myself coming from a built 250F.
At 58, I think I have found the right balance of power for what I do. I guess it's not a dragster but I can go do 4 15-minute moto's at pace and this makes me happy. I can lift the front over rollers and chop at will. I am fine with comments regarding not enough punch. They are honest coming from an accomplished rider. I can scare myself on my RM250 if I feel like it. I have read that this is KTM's #1 selling bike category so I guess there's that. Viva La Diff'erence!
Side note: I went to a 14/51 and really liked it. That and an Evo bar.
Big improvement!
Also, I love my 350!
I went with the Gen 1, not the carbon. I wanted the ease of maintenance of the open cartridge style rather than the Dual. The fork is very very good now. Gets rid of all the issues you describe, plus I never touch a pump. I also had them do the shock to match with their piston kit and bigger can. Under 2K all in.
