Jeff won’t be part of the team, if they continue. But I hope that the team can stick around and help out a couple of the riders that are stuck without a ride right now.

Losing a team like factory connection is a major bummer! Hate to say it but Geico Honda closing shop leaves a big hole to fill in our sport....

I find it hard to believe that such a successful team can't find another good sponsor to keep them afloat... Is there more to the story than just GEICO leaving? Sorry if it's been covered in another thread, I haven't read much about it.

Given the current economic climate I don’t find it surprising at all that they couldn’t find a title sponsor. It’s not like sponsors clamoring to get in on motocross in good times let alone the shit we’re dealing with now.

Covid-19 is much too blame here, most companies have been hit hard so no surprise they are struggling a little to find another major backer

Geico,s truck driver is cool and .professional. I hope he finds another team. If not my pal is a broker, since June Cal. To Midwest loads are paying 9 to 10k. Dry van. Feb to may was 2,800- 4,000, terrible. Cal. To Wa. Bad rates also. A lot of mechanics, etc working people on the team, hope they find something.

I really enjoyed my years of working with the team. They were dead serious about winning races, but still kept the attitude friendly and hospitable. One of my greatest weekends at the track was the time that the team staff and hauler was rented out by Team Mexico at the Budds Creek MXdN. Between the motos, Team Mexico pulled out bottle after bottle of high end tequila to sip and share. My dad was with me that day, and we sure had a great time. Thanks for the memories!
