Maybe I am overthinking this but is he changing teams, 450 ride, or the FC team going away?

He said that he wants to stay with the team but it’s all up in the air until they get their sponsors figured out.

Honda would be crazy not to find a bike for him.

I think Jeremy will still be on 250s but this post doesn’t sound like it is going well for FC

I think he's just saying it's been a good year after recovering from a devastating injury and he's looking forward to the year to come.

I'm sure finding a bike isn't the problem

it's the high salary, bonus structure and other budgetary issues that comes with hiring a former two time champ and current contender.

Whenever people argue that Honda will do what it takes to win, bring this up

Would JMart on a Star bike guarantee an outdoor title next year?

There are no guarantees in MX.

How can a 2 time champ and 2nd in points guy not be pointed out of that class? Is it the forever class? He needs more power, that Honda is handcuffing him and that doesn't happen in the 450 class. His SX resume is weak, but he's gonna do better on a 450 IMO. The bike won't hold him back.

It’s a national class, there is no pointing out

Id say if JMart got back on the Star bike, he would be *nearly* unstoppable.

Sounds like they are all saying goodbye.

JMart should stay in the 250 class for one more year. He should win next year. Why not take a title if you can?

Even if he has to buy his own Yamaha. Go back to the bike he dominated on. Remember when we thought he was the next superstar?

There is no way he moves up to the 450 and even podiums. He would do well to get an occasional top five on the big bike next year.

How many times has he hinted that the Honda is a dog during podium interviews? No reason to ride a donkey when Ferrandis is on Seabiscuit. He's smart to keep his options open, boot Nichols and give him a ride at Yami? Ferrandis is moving up so they've got room.

He already has a 450 podium.

I did say next year he would not podium. The competition will be too great in 2021 in the 450 class.

Plus, the guy still needs a little more time to get back.

His injury was very serious.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Honda is allowing him to look elsewhere. No hard feelings towards each other. I don’t think it’s a match made in heaven between the two. It’s a good time and opportunity for the teams to split ways.

Amazing that someone with almost 5000 post doesn't understand the AMA National class structure
