I thought they made huge improvements but am I the only one hearing Jeremy Martin talk about how much faster the Yamahas are? It’s like every other interview he’s dogging his Honda.

Also makes sense if the Yamahas are that much faster than why DF14 was able to make so much more time last weekend in the deep horsepower robbing dirt. This weekend not so much.

Realistically he’s on the slowest bike in the class I think and it has been that way since he left Star.

Unfortunately he found out that the grass isn’t always greener

I’ve seen his bike & the other Geico Honda’s up there on the starts. There was one race where DF got the holeshot by a few inches on JM.

When you holeshot nationals on a regular basis, or a gp or a sx, i wouldn't call that bike "slow".

McGrath said he got such good starts on his Suzuki because it was so slow it wouldn't break traction.

The Suzuki is good at JGR. It was the only other bike to jump the leap outside of the Yamahas

I missed a shot at the leap where Dylan Ferrandis was going by RJ Hampshire (who didn't jump it), and Dylan was looking down/back at him.

A lot of talk about HP on the forums but the real difference with the Star Yamaha’s is probably based on the amount of torque they produce.
Yamaha’s design/engine package tends to produce more torque.
Then ad Brad’s knowledge/work into play and you have one fast bike.
It’s never shocking to see them clear a big jump with a short run. Pretty impressive to see basically a whole team confident enough in their bike to go for it.
