Marchbank's Wont Return to PC Kawasaki

Yeah, that's odd. I thought he looked vastly improved this year and figured he'd be battling for a title with PC next year. Honestly, I'd take him over all of the others guys they have except Forkner, but I'm sure he'll end up on a good bike somewhere.

Yep, think of the resources and time Kawi/PC have in to him at this point, the system is broken.

I'd like to see Marchbanks in PC so that Forkner is set free just to see him on a star bike

Be a good fit at TLD i think. Too good to be passed over.

Didn't realize he came out a year early. There's got to be something going on. Maybe it's Forkner's dad. Unsure Whistling

Yeah, he came up to fill for AC i think, i dont even remember if he got to do Lorettas.. i will check the vault.

I am sure he rode High Point, in his first season, and that was an early round.

EDIT
Yup, rode Hangtown 2018, so this is his 3rd season Finished top 10 in the first 3 rounds.

Fair enough. Wasn't saying they were. Just a probably cause of a guy who's looked deserving of his ride from the outside.

He came out early because Hammaker was hurt.

I think he also came out early because Cianciarulo skipped 2018 outdoors to get his ACL repaired.

Why would this go any better than any other 250 Craig has been on? Dude is what, 28 now? He needs to just sack up and ride a 450 on a Team Tedder or MCR ride in SX and give up the 250 dream. I doubt the Star Yamaha will be the difference maker either for him....

So sack up and race for free? He’s riding a 250 because someone is willing to pay him more than anyone will pay on a 450

Hammaker was supposed to be the one coming out.

OK yes I get the point you and upTite are making. At the end of the day, if Star wants to pay him to race and it's his best move then that is what has to be done. But listen to Craig in interviews (Pulp show recently) and he really still thinks that elusive 250 SX title is just around the corner. I'm surprised teams think it is as well. He's had a LOT of kicks at it now, and it has not worked out. He is a great 450 rider, the 250 class is balls out crazy in SX and I think CC is just too finesse to get it done. But he can be a top-12 450 guy on the right bike, racing his peers and at the end of day top-12 in 450 SX is pretty incredible. Way better than 6th in points in West Coast 250.

FWIW I am not hating on Christian. His style and technique are textbook. And if you go back through his results in the Vault on a 450 both indoors and outdoors, it's easy to see he's great on a 450.

Not true. Garrett was always targeted to go before Seth.

Not true. Seth's deal was in place prior to this.

Again, not true. Garrett moved up to the pro team starting the outdoors in 2018. Seth was contracted to race the Pro Sport classes at LL in 2018. Seth got hurt in 2019.

He'll be perfectly fine. He'll end up on a good factory team for 2021. You don't luck into a win in professional supercross/motocross.

I was told the opposite, thanks for the correction.

Do you know why they chose Garrett to come up early instead of Hammaker?

I sure hope he doesn’t go to TLD unless they get rid of Tyler Keefe. Every time i see a video of that guy talking to riders he seems like a confidence killer.

He was on the 250 a year before Seth because he just got too big for the super mini. If I remember correctly, it was always the plan for Garrett to go pro in the nationals in 2018 if he was ready. He had a really good spring and PC lost a couple riders to injury and Garrett was there ready to go.

I hear he just wants to spend time out camping in the bed of his truck, under the stars. At least that's what my friend Ralph told me....
