It does seem like such a small thing, and it could easily be argued it is. The problem is all these small things lately in society end up adding up to one big thing. Every day it’s something that offends needs to be eradicated from the public. We’ve been bombarded with this stuff for what seems like forever now. And the response “well you’re offended by people being offended” is the dumbest argument I’ve heard. At what point do the PC police stop? They won’t, unless people speak out. I think people have had their fill of this and are reaching their limit. One thing is for certain, if sports keeps injecting this BS into everything (MX/SX included) I’m done watching. There’s no escape anymore.

I read through this thread and it has absolutely nothing to do with free speech.

Its just bitter people wanting something pointless to bitch about.

How do you even know someone told Weege "not to say it". Maybe he was just tired of saying "The ten commandments" over and over for hours last weekend and wanted something easier to say and thought of "10-pack".

I didnt even notice it until this thread brought it up. I was too busy watching the insane racing that went on!

do i think it’s silly they changed the name due to our current state of cancel culture through the re writing of our history and overt political correctness... absolutely!

Can I understand that the corporation that is investing in our sport changed the name to ensure that they can maximize revenues gained through advertising... absolutely!

Can you still call it the ten commandments... absolutely!

I don’t really think it’s that big of a deal like you guys are making it out to be.

Haha yea that's it. After more than a decade of commentating 5 days of 6+ hours of racing coverage saying it nearly every race, Weege had finally had enough of saying "Ten commandments" and made his life easier and shorten it to "Ten-Pack" Haha, Thanks I needed that laugh.

Has anyone else noticed the loudest voices in regards to freedom of speech are not from the United States at all?

But it's CBS not NBC televising "The Masters", so maybe they won't make them change any names.

Hard to imagine NBC made the call on a nickname for a random obstacle on a motocross track on a broadcast that gets them very little viewership, particularly compared to Notre Dame football.
