The SMX Cup in Germany was sparsely attended, would probably be the closest to no fans I could remember.

One question, apologies if its already been answered but I didn't see it reading through. Relates to why all sport stopped in the first place. I've read reports of rules for football (soccer) restarting in empty stadiums in Europe. Here all players and team staff have to pass a covid-19 test before they can play.

Will this be the case for SX? Will teams, mechanics, riders etc all get tested the week before or something? What will happen if a mechanic tests positive, would that mean the whole team would be excluded? Could have a big effect on championship results...

I believe they will be tested the day of? Otherwise you could pass the test on Tuesday and get it on Wednesday.

With this compressed schedule, finishing all the races will take on an extremely great importance.
Translated this means... take out your competitor!! If you can knock out someone for one race, then there is little time to recover.
The racing may look more like arenacross.

Imagine if someone takes out Tomac on the first race...0 points.
He's out of the championship, unless he can take out someone in second place, etc.
There could be carnage!

I was one of the ones saying it wasn't going to happen...BUT...I am very, very happy to be wrong!

People are sick of this illegal lockdown. Time to stand up for our rights, we did what they wanted, the curve flattened. Time for the politicians to stop using this covid as a political weapon and get the country working again. I for one have been in the thick of it. No days off for me.

And to change gears, I will NOT take any vaccine, I would intentionally get the virus first. My opinion, my body, my choice.

I had read that AZ opened back up for a lot of sports. Would of been cool to do a few rounds there as well , but I'm not complaining one bit. Going to be cool to watch the racing happen twice a week , but a little strange with no crowd. And good on Utah for letting this happen.
