I have built many local Championship winning bikes. I have built bikes for Pro racers who race nationals and supercross. Built bikes for average joe weekend warriors. For pit bike riders. For vet riders. For womens class racers. All sorts of different people. I’ve installed well over 50 of these throttles on my customers bikes. And we all come to the same conclusion after the dust settles.

It’s hard to ride a bike without a zrthrottle on it. Once the break in and learning curve is over, the precision you control your motorcycle with becomes mind blowing. Consistency, less fatigue, and the coolness factor all add up to make the big picture. I have taken some extremely hard crashes in the rocks racing hare-scrambles and every time I pick up my bike I never have to worry about a broken or gritty throttle tube. Fall in the sand and bury the handlebars, pick it right up and good to go.

It amazes me that people will spend $120+ dollars on the newest goggle that comes out, and will only get a season, if that out of them. At $170 this is literally the last throttle tube you will ever buy. Mine has well over 200 hours on it, it was one of the original prototypes and I have still yet to replace the bearing. It has been swapped onto three bikes now.

Can’t say thank you to Tom enough! He’s a great guy, a family man, and a true friend who was able to bring his passion together with his hobby. Top notch product made right here in New England, and more importantly in the USA. Hope more people see the big picture.

Luxon 4-Post Bar Mounts
$189.95 - $239.95
Btw, even though his throttle was "like brand new", looking at his bars, I guess his moto was over anyway, so what's the point?
Cat people... pfffttt!
Yes, I do see the new bearing style should alleviate the eventual metal to metal grinding but $100+ ? Yeah.....NO!
Rethinking my previous comment about price.
I got 60 hours out of a set of stock, ODI lock ons, on my KTM, and that thing is crashed, in the rocks, at minimum twice a day.
The problem is not that I can't afford it.
It's just that it might be a good insurance for a pro, but for me, it's overkill and just a useless waste of money.
Not understanding that simple fact is the only thing that's pathetic.

Some of you will never amount to jack shit and it shows, maybe it’s not the most incredible piece in the world but I can tell you that a HUGE amount of thought, time, and money went into developing this into what it is today. Not feeling it’s necessary is one thing, but to try to make the owner/designer seem like and idiot is just so far out of whack I can’t even tell you.
Let’s take just the promotional video for example that shows the machining process in intricate detail. Do most of you jackasses even know what you’re looking at as that video is playing, or would you even know where to start when it comes to creating just that video alone? If not then STFU, your opinion means jack to someone who’s gone through the product development process and created something from scratch. It’s real easy to sit safely from the sidelines and call out peoples mistakes from the safety of your keyboard, but unless you’re the guy risking his time and money developing something like this you have absolutely no room to talk. Just generating a toolpath for that final setup to machine the throttle cam would take quite a bit of machining experience and knowledge, that’s not simple geometry by any stretch of the imagination.
The throttle is a little out of my price range but I wish this guy the best, he’s put in the work and done an incredible job bringing this piece to market. Lazy haters can get bent.

I agree people are bholes on this forum, but the creator came off pretty bad himself on here. He definitely could have played it much cooler. He also needs to not be the one behind the promoting. Super gimmicky for what seems like a pretty solid product.
Example: “you’ll never have to buy a set of handlebars again,” then he also posts a picture of bent handlebars to this thread lmao.
Best of luck to him. It really does seem solid, but staying off the keyboard may be his best bet. Guy actually seems pretty cool, just a typical MA attitude guy which comes off bad over computer lol.
I can "waist" my money replacing at least 30 of these before I get even...
