I ended up enjoying it a lot.
I did find though that if the temp was 20 degrees F or below, any little bit of breath I exhaled would freeze on the inside of my face shield and then I couldn't see. Which meant I had to lift the face shield and deal with some nice cold wind in the face. And then at that temp, the face shield had a tendency to not want to thaw out. So from that, my lower limit on Temp became low 20's.

Love my 675r, I've ridden a few cruisers 1000s and naked bikes but nothing handles like my 675r. This thing is like a 125 for the street except it will wheelie at 80 mph. I've got a lot of miles in this bike and I'm actually on my second engine. I've done a lot of work and got it running great and handeling perfect.
This is my daily driver and honestly has a more meaningful relationship to me than my girlfriend of 2 years. Love my 450 but this bike has taken me to work maybe 1000x.
But as far as handling....well. It's lowered and it's got floorboards so the lean angles are not so great. Without a fairing/windscreen, you get beat up by the wind at HWY speeds. The springer front end is old technology which only has provisions for a single puck disc brake....which is not very good. This is why HD stopped producing springers...that front end is not compatible with ABS. (now standard on all their bikes).
Don't get me wrong it rides great, handles good within it's means and despite it's brutal looks, it's comfortable to ride all day long. It's a blast and I love it.
But At this point, I’m content with my time served on a street bike and happy to have made it out without any injuries to be honest. Maybe if I had friends that rode it would be a different story. It was just too sketchy to justify. I have MX to chase that feeling for now
But man, when you roll that power on, there’s nothing like it. Being Well into triple digits in seconds Is ludicrous

Ended up selling it because on a ride with the wife on the back one day a car came around a corner and if I stuck my foot out I could have taken his mirror off. I was on the very inside of my lane and couldn't move any further to the side. After that she refused to get on the back anymore so I sold it and bought an mx bike

I've wanted a S2R1000 for ages – but it's quite a small/low bike. I love the 90s styling of Ducati – didn't like the newer ones till just recently.
Likely going to get a 1200S sometime soon. Bit more height and the long service intervals are nice.
This is mine MT10 YAMAHA, naked R1 . 165hp to the rear wheel , bike is totally insane. Sometimes when I ride it, I am absolutely amazed that you can actually go to the dealership and buy something so insane like this and take it home! And they will sell it to anybody too!

I never wanted to have a road bike because I knew that it could happen, and thought it was too dangerous.... But last summer, being my town one of the main summer destinations in Spain and getting really overcrowded here, I got really fed up with traffic and bought it....
