Looking for " Large " gear bag. Advice.

We used the 9800 for all of our scuba gear. Minus tanks.

Axo Race Case from the mid 90s. I have one in my storage unit. You could probably find one on eBay.

Absolutely no questions an OGIO 9800 is the way to go. I have used them to lug around heavy RC racing gear for years through airports and tracks. The chassis in them is what makes them special. Very rugged and huge wheels with large bearings is key to rolling trough pits that are dirt and grass.

My current one is going on 8 years and works perfectly still. Zippers are HUGE and rugged which is key to longevity. its even really well padded and protects a helmet perfectly.

I went through a couple of cheap $129 TOTES brand huge haulers and hockey bags before I found the ogio stuff. The wheels and chassis will break on the shit ones as soon as you drop it full of wet gear from a tail gate.

I have found them on Ebay for around 199 free shipping when you stalk em.

The Klim Kodiak bag has served me well. Mine even fell out the back of a truck at 60MPH and slid down the highway for a couple hundred feet. Held up well!

I have a Fox Gear bag that I think should work fine for that, very simple but huge and with wheels

This is what I use when I take my kids on vacation. I wish it had more room though.

The best one ever was Ogio 9900, but they stopped making it. The good news is, it was so well built that I’m still using mine 10 years later.

I bought the big Acerbis gear bag. About 1/3 of *price* (edit) the 9800 and it’s pretty damn big

THIS. Still have and use my 9900, though it has a small tear that I need to patch up.

I use my 9800 for work travel. Up to 6 flights/month for a few years.

Despite their impressive efforts - even the airport “baggage vandals” haven’t managed to destroy it. Yet.

Cycle gear do really nice big bag home brand very cheap

I'd get a diving bag if I were you. Moto bags won't breath or stand up to water as well. Diving bags have mesh everywhere.

The Fox Racing Shuttle bag is 51” long... have no idea if it is durable.
*edit* That length might have been a typo on a web page or maybe an older model is that large, as some are shorter.
