Has ryno lost his mind?

I may have called him a crazy hippie before but nothing he said in that video was whack or didn't make sense. I like that he's not taking a strong stance on what exactly is going down or trying to peddle some conspiracy about it, he's just telling us to stay positive, make the most of the situation and be prepared for whatever happens.

Anyone have the footage of Rhyno and Doug Henry grappling at Delmont Steel City in 1993.

Define Normal?

Who cares what does or doesn't make him happy if it doesn't hurt anybody.

If I could make a living being a hippy I would

Y'all say he's missing something in the head and someone said "dudes searching for something hope he finds it"...Ryno spent most his life 5th gear WTFO (Wide the "f" word open) on a dirtbike, living life on the very-very edge. When the racing is over, almost every motocrosser is left searching for something that may never be replicated and that's when we/they wander.

Nothing better than seeing that guy in right field ay Dodger Stadium. Caught probably 20 games while he was here, and I always made sure I was close to that area. Opposing team fans would talk mad shit at him, and he would talk right back, but never rude. Shit with his accent, you had no idea what he was saying anyways. haha

But He always made it a point of throwing a ball to the biggest haters kid. Totally jacking up the ride home for Dad. Laughing

I like him. He seems a bit unhinged but there's nothing wrong with that, it's good to have characters in and around the sport. I like Dungey as well, but if everyone was like him then the sport would be lacking something.

Go Ryno!

I just don’t get why you would screen shot an awkward photo of Ryan and then basically bag him out.. I’m sure I could take a picture of you half tanked or speaking shit and make a similar post..
To each there own ,
There’s a lot more going on in the world and a lot more interesting moto discussion’s to be had then this.

Ryno is a good guy. I trained with him in 2007 and it was awesome. He was certainly ahead of his time back then. For example, we were doing mostly compound movements that required balance and your brain, while most people were just riding road bikes for insane amounts of time back then. Sure, he's a bit "out there" sometimes, but I think he's just going full speed trying to grow as a person and an athlete. Nothing wrong with that. I always appreciate people who go for it / send it rather than just doing what everyone else is doing.

So my big question from this thread was did he owe ML's father money or not.

Oh and never fight a guy wearing a helmet. Unless you are a submission expert you are losing that fight.

Back in about 2012 or so I was at Pala and noticed Ryan was there watching somebody ride. I pulled up and said Hi and asked what he was doing. In talking to him he was very detailed in his conversation. You could tell he was a very passionate individual and meant and believed everything he said. You can't fault him for that.

I don't care who you are but if you square up to fight someone and you don't take your helmet off you are a bitch. End of discussion.

Pag is nobody's bitch and neither is Ryan. They were caught up in the moment and that's all there is to it. Both of them are bad asses in their own right.

As to the other comments about Ryan: He knows, all too well, that "normal" is for losers. Many of you...don't.

I still think the OP's pic looks like Steven Tyler Grinning

I can see if someone jumps you and you don't have time to take your helmet off but if you square and leave the helmet on you're a bitch. Shit, every hockey fight I've been in I pulled my helmet off.

True...but our helmets don't come off that quickly and we don't fight during very period Laughing

Like I said, they're both bad-asses in my book.

"This is a hybrid. This is a cross bluegrass, Kentucky bluegrass, featherbed bent, and northern California sinsemilla. The amazing stuff about this is that you can play 36 holes on it in the afternoon take it home and just get stoned to the bejeezus-belt at night on this stuff. I've got pounds of this stuff. Here, take a puff on this big ole' Bob Marley joint."

He was pretty badass on a 125 or any other bike for that matter, but was never super stoked about him off the bike especially as a hard ass hippie.

As a 20 something I am truly cultivated by what Ryno preaches on and off the bike. I know a clean natural diet, strong mental focus, and continuous improvement will take me far in life.

Don’t see what’s so wrong with that.

I like Ryno. In 96 at mammoth he hit me so hard in practice at the bottom of the first big downhill after the start, he knocked the snot from my right nostril into my left nostril.

You're certainly not so "cultivated" my man.
