Did I miss a PR release that KTM was going to field a Gas Gas team in the US, or is this all speculation. Some of the talk in here sounds like a Gas Gas team is a done deal.

1) Yamaha - Does he replace Barcia or Plessinger
2) Honda - To Replace Brayton
3) Husky - Replace Anderson or Deano?

I’d say to KTM to replace Marv but I think he is still under contract for another year.
Not honda.
Honda wouldn’t want him under his tent and also they have Sexton for 2021.

I don't see Kawasaki letting Cianciarulo go.

I can see Dean Wilson moving over to the Rocky Mountain ATV/MC Team to replace Bogle.

If Dean moves over to the Rocky Mountain ATV/MC Team I can see the 3rd Husqvarna bike moving to the Red Bull KTM team for a 3rd rider (Ferrandis). Musquin has 1 year left on his contract and might call it a career after 2021.

I can also see Yamaha adding a 3rd rider to the team (Ferrandis or McElrath) if Barcia finishes 3rd.

Edit: Concerning the 3rd bike at Yamaha. I believe McElrath signed a 2 year deal and will point out of the 250 class.

Edit 2: McElrath is not pointing out of the 250 class.
I thought Baggett's contract is up at the end of this season. Wow your chart shows too many proven guys and little 450 seats. You're right, Coronavirus might help SM12.

Tell me what is unintelligent about anything I have said or anyone else for that matter. The only unintelligent thing in here is your own post. Most of what has been said is everyone guessing, not stating. Others have been asking questions. You’re comment has no merit. I guess that means you’re a moron trying to make a funny joke.

Thanks maverick for posting some accurate information👍🏼 Should def do some research before starting this thread, sexton has been signed to Honda 450 since last year- very well known. Anderson signed a 3 year extension. Marv is signed through next season as well.

I like Dylan just not sure if he's must sign for these teams. He's on the older end of the spectrum, hasn't really been dominant (very good but not dominant) and let's say can be controversial. I think he needs to crush the outdoors to be " the guy" to hire. Who knows now what will happen this year.

Supercross holds a lot of weight. Not to mention, but he could very well add the outdoor championship to his resume after the summer is over.

Sexton is already signed.

I think we are on the same page just worded differently. Like you said "if" he wins the SX title and does well outdoors. I think this season is very important for his future as far as his worth, for a lack of a better word, to teams. Like I said with everything that is going on right now who knows what will happen. I'm a fan and think he will make racing better with him in the 450's. Just not sure teams are getting out blank checks for his agent, yet.
Hard truth ; you are right, at his age, he won't get a blank check. He would be 18, oh yes, but he is 25 or 26, so no. That said, he is the main "rookie" to sign for next year, he is a step above the 250 class with Forkner, the guy groomed to replace Tomac in 2 or 3 years. And Ferrandis posted some better qualification times than all the 450 guys quite a few times. We can do the same analysis during the races, he is not a good starter but he is f..... fast, fit as ryno. And he was quite on par with AC last year, who did really well this year with multiple pole positions for instance and was quite in the title hunt. He is still a hot commodity I think. I just don't think there are lots of rides avaiable right now, i think he can be considered as a top 3 top 8 rider so he will probably get a good one. RMATV would be the perfect spot.

I am also thinking that Bogle will call it a day or keep taking fill in rides ; he is a great starter and can do good, but i think the devastating crash in vegas took a huge toll on his real potential. I feel bad for him, he can holeshot, has top 5 top 8 speed but he can't catch a break...

Now the problem is Ferrandis may rightfully be looking for a real salary and not what a good hard working plumber may make per year for 40 years, so who knows where he will land Wink

The only difference is the colour of the plastics and the semi.

It’ll be a breeze for them.

KTM has proven that they can launch a new team and they have the DNA and experience to make it work. Husky comes to mind. I'm sure there were people 5 years ago saying Husky will never be a contender either.

I don’t think anyone mentioned it, but AC has a rider option after this year. His agent mentioned that on a podcast. He really holds all the chips right now, and I think the rest of the dominos fall after he makes a decision.

They were already an established team. They were a 250 KTM team with lots of experience and a 250 Championship with Ando.

He wants KTM and KTM wants him. The only thing in the way is Yamahas big contract they offered him.

Ferrandis has the strength and experience to fully use the extra 200 cc and in my opinion is a faster and safer bet for the future than Marcia. Ferrandis has beaten all comers: Barker has fallen short and is looked better because Marv. and AC are not throwing shade. Blue will be very keen to hold Dylan, and if well managed he has 3 to 5 years of championship level in him, in the same way Reed and Brayton have shown speed into their 30's.

Is it just me, or is the Yamaha 450 about the last choice for riders of this caliber? I honestly don't know, but it seems that few riders with a choice go with the big Yamaha.

Maybe I'm totally off on this - certainly a Yamaha fan.
