Open letter to Ken Roczen

If you could re-wind to the gate drop at Daytona last week, what do you do differently?

(This whole thing sucks!! 😩)

Someone on this forum suggested Kenny got the lead, sprinted for five laps then ‘settled in’.

I believe it. (That said I haven’t examined lap charts)
He’s won races like that this year. He didn’t account for ‘Daytona’ and Eli’s super-powers he seems to find there!

Could he have pushed harder for longer??
A question Kenny will ask himself for enternity I suspect.

I think he might’ve considered sucking off a stallion horse to absorb some of its speed and stamina.

He found a full second again the last lap when Eli was towing him.
Ken is a bit fucked mentally by Tomac; he knows the #3 can shovel more coal for longer.
94 gets it that he is fortunate the races are not 25 minutes +2.

Eli has caught passed and dropped Roczen several times this season. In one race he went off the track and did it twice. It's not that unusual.

So will that tip over go down as the most costly one in Supercross history?

No considering how much time tomac made up to get to him so easily, the tip over wasn’t what lost the race.

Did someone ever finish that close to Tomac in Daytona? Ken did absolutely amazing

I actually think kenny sprints at the pace he rode when tomac was all over him. You clearly saw how much he stepped it up. But either way we can’t sit here and say what if because what if tomac crashes knowing it’s the last race? What is kenny crashes? Shitty situation for all the riders even tomac

Considering how long Tomac took to get around other riders that were going much slower than Roczen I'm not sure he would have passed him with 3 or 4 laps to go. Track was not easy to make a pass. He was much faster though, that's for sure

He made up seconds in single laps. He was passing him no matter what

He did, also he said multiple times before Daytona he knew how good tomac did there and he was going to put extra effort in to beat him there

When Eli was pushing Webb they were both closing the gap on Ken. Then once Eli got past Webb dropped back. The tip over definitely helped but there was a good chance he would have passed him anyway. We'll never know.
And if this does end up being the last round and they give Tomac the title , right or wrong there's going to be a cloud hanging over it due to these circumstances. That may diminish over time but it will always be the championship that was called early. I doubt either of them would want to win it that way.

Maybe buy a small ranch at around 7000 feet above sea level. And live/train there as long as he’s in it.

So long as they don't call it now Roczen will take this title - everyone just chill.

He was ran down at the 15 minute mark by the machine on a outdoor track. Have you been watching the last few years on outdoor racing.

Not much of an open letter. No addressee, indentations are non existent, and you never signed it. Come on man, get your act together.Tongue
