Was fine when we left about 5:30. Hard standing roads all the way in and exit is downhill

Predictions for tomorrow anyone?

I think herlings will wrap it up nicely if conditions stay the same. I’d like the see glen higher up too, Is the gas gas actually a red ktm or not as I expected him and Monticelli to be higher up

Mx2 well that’s anyone guess.

Fingers crossed for the winds to dry the track out! Doesn’t make for great racing when the tracks like it was today!

Does anyone else think that this is TKOs title to lose. I feel he needs to make a statement tomorrow and carry on this season winning races. If the KTM boys pass him up this will not bode well for his future career IMO.

Arguably the favourite for the title, but his injury has put him back.

Who knows whether going over-the-bars did any damage. He needs a solid day tomorrow. He can build from there!

I think TKO will have a hard time beating Vialle. He will be strong and consistent all year. Moosdijk is extremely fast. Not sure on his consistency yet.

I agree this is a career defining year for Olsen. He needs to show Husky that he is a better choice that Jonass or Jasikonis, which I’m not sure he is. I actually put Vialle as slight title favourite, for no reason other than his starts are always absolutely on point, which is something you can’t say for Olsen or anyone else you would really consider a championship contender

Better than today, which looked awful on TV but was actually fine. We had half an hour of hail and rain at the worst possible time when the MXGP guys were out, but it’s been sunny all day apart from that, and tomorrow is looking like more of the same. It’s a really shame that the wind came last night and did the damage it did. If it wasn’t for that everything would’ve ran perfectly today with no issues at all

My pick is Herlings. I think Prado will improve, but with the conditions the way they are, who knows what will happen. I'm very excited for this season though.

How that young bloke would fold himself up onto a 85 / Super Mini beggars belief. The flexibility of youth, I guess.

I'd hope for his (safety's) sake, he's no longer on Minis ( someone mentioned in another thread he's been contracted to racing Minis) - it's so easy to hurt yourself on one, especially when you are both tall, and lightly built.

He was doing very well (well, they all were, to my mind) in very, very trying conditions, up until a lap or two from the end of the Moto.

He's only 17 - he's eligible for this class, and a year (if he's doing the full series, and / or racing other 125 events in Europe) in EMX125, with a few 250 races as well, would be a great transitional program to Adult racing.

I wish him, and his Family well.

Even Liam Everts had a couple of 'offs' towards the end. Malin said "he's been in the Greenhouse over winter - he's Sprouted a few inches", or, thereabouts. But he's still one of the smallest young blokes out there.

The Goggle Lane / Pit :

I've heard / seen No reference to it this weekend.

I thought this year, it was to come in as a Compulsory thing.

I Can't recall the time / laps given for a competitor to go get new goggles, if they discarded them.

They had it at a few GPs last year - not being compulsory then, but as a start to it all.

Saw quite a few of the 125 riders and Women without goggles yesterday, and, as I said, I heard no reference to the Goggle Lane / Pit.

Have I just missed reference to it / it being shown, or, has rule ' disappeared ' ?

Seems the right event for it to feature in, from the get go.

Courtney Duncan just went 1:1.

Funny thing just before she was interviewed by Lisa : some young lady grabbed Steve Dixon by his jacket sleeve as he came to the side of Courtney, and gave him the bums rush out of the picture. Promoter / Big Boss of the Event, Owner / Manager of the Team of the rider that just won - It was like "get the hell out of there, you are Not going to be in the shot''...... Woohoo I found it a bit of a crack up.

He had a bloody big smile on his dial getting the Team Trophy.

Kiara (3rd OA) had her little one up on the podium. Cool Larisa Papenmier (sp?) 2nd OA - I'm always struck by how tiny she is - shorter than Courtney, even.

What a performance from this Brumann kid. He didn't qualify in a couple of races last year and barely made points in the races he qualified in. Now he is going 2-1 or 2-2.

the only problem with being only 17 is that he got his doors blown off by 15 and 16 years old kids. don't get me wrong here I love that Max came over to do the EMX series, but I'm afraid he's a little late compared to the other riders he's facing
For example

1st Everts 15
2nd Brumann 16
3th Miot 16

he's competing against a majority of riders that are a year or even 2 years younger. I think if he would have come sooner he would have upped his pace and stamina more easily. He's almost a full-grown athlete and is now thrown into 25 min races compared to the sprint races he's used to the whole of his life. A lot of adjustments for a kid from 17 years of age and getting your ass handed by kids that are 2 years younger than you have less strength, is not something i would enjoy. So I hope he has a good head on his shoulders and keeps on plugging away

Btw, what has happened to TM? Not a single TM in EMX 125 and that is really sad.

I thought they were supposed to come back to GPs after their move of the factory facilities?
