Supposing that in MXGP the motor can be completely revisited, while in AMA it’s not possible, my guess is that the motor that geerts is on, is more powerful than the star racing ones.
Anyway, Honda hrc, in the 250 class, in mxgp it’s years that is not investing on and i wouldn’t be surprised that geico’s bikes are better.

I've been a 'fan' of Roger ever since I saw him in the 125GP series, in the Gaston Rahier era. He was out there on a very outmatched Husky CR125, but, doing pretty bloody well.
He's been in MX since then, through so many positions within the sport. So much knowledge, so many great stories to tell. Last year, Dirt Bike Rider had a great interview with him (well, they, and other mags have had quite a few interviews with him) , with his own story, his HRC postilion(s), and his thoughts on his era, and the current era.
An Impressive,, grounded, funny man.
He was thinking about switching to Enduro this year but changed his mind on the last moment.
