Maybe it might indicate that the 'Gas Gas' bikes are a damned sight more than just a re-plastic'd KTM, together with more than just a few engineering differences to the KTMs and KTHuskies?

Somehow, I doubt it, but, still, I hope for that. Unsure

But, I suspect you're right, Mr Last Braaap. Whistling

Hey, it might just be a change to the day, and we'll see it all come Saturday morning?

That rig pictured, I'm pretty sure isn't Standing Contructs MXGP one - it will be interesting to see what their actual rig and pit set up is.

It can't be much different and they've already made clear it won't be far from a KTM.

And not sure why it'd be cancelled when the bikes must have been done if they did the photoshoot last week? Really hope they aren't on an orange bike this weekend...

I'm confident we will see the Gas Gas factory bikes this weekend.

Well yes, otherwise the GasGas factory riders wouldn't have trained on KTMs their whole off-season. They are not going to hop on a completely different bike come free practice on Saturday

Where I’ve been looking, it’s gonna chuck it down all day at Winchester tomorrow, looking like it could be a mudder on Saturday at least.

As long as it doesn’t rain on the weekend it won’t be a mudder. It’s unreal how fast that place dries

The forecast is improving. A bit of rain on Saturday and only a 20% chance of rain on Sunday with temperatures 7 to 8 degrees and even some sunshine.

If you are going to put red plastic on it why not do that 3 months earlier?

Jordi Tixier joined Sarholz KTM.

I wouldn't be that shocked if Tom Koch beats him. Tom was a beast at the end of the last season.

Yep hearing the rain all morning makes you wonder who thought it was a good idea to have an MXGP in March in England... from a fan point of view you need to be a hardcore Mx fan to go stand in the cold and mud all day and pay the big bucks for you ticket!

It was that or not have one. On the other hand you could look at it as an opportunity to see something that we have never seen before, which is a world championship kicking off in our homeland. Weather in England can be iffy at any time of year, and the forecast for the two days of racing actually looks quite promising. It’s this kind of attitude that meant GB wasn’t on the calendar when it was provisionally announced. It’s one of the cheapest GP’s and best tracks of the year. Use it or lose it

Look to the crowd they had at Hawkstone. It was pretty bloody impressive, with some fairly fearsome weather. You'd think those dedicated Enhusiasts would be even more fired up for an opening Home GP, on a Magnificent track.

I hope that they get good, nay, Great attendance, rain or not. Dixon and his crew do a fantastic job, and, if there's one bloke that deserves to make a profit from a GP, and not just Luongo, it's Steve Dixon.

Nearly everyone I know who rides is going, like they all do every year.

We live on a damp shit island where it rains everyday, we should all be able to put up with a little bit of inclement weather. Doesn't even look like it is going to be that bad anyway.
