Having read the patent it seems some of the verbiage would allow for pretty easy circumventing by competitors.

I paid an attorney to verify, it is a solid patent... They have a big blanket on anything dealing with covering a dirtbike graphic... Could it be fought, sure you can fight any patent. Just depends on how much money you want to spend to find out.

Just ordered some a few days ago. Sean swore by them so we’ll see. Decal Works quality has always been top notch regardless so this will only make it better.

These guards pictured here have hours and hours on them. Ronnie Stewart tested the Graphic Guards last fall as well as Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing rider Giacomo Redondi. These are the used guards off their bikes. While they are worn out and broke now, they did their job protecting the graphic in that lower boot area. For just $24.95 pick a few sets. Smile

Cool idea.

I would be curious to hear from people who buy them, is will your boot catch if your leg drifts back and you bring it back towards the pegs (against the grain?) I know off of jumps sometimes my leg drifts back towards the side-panel (just a weird habit I have) and could see it maybe catching on the way back. Also, how does it hold up on the exhaust side? I put an aftermarket pipe on my FC350 and it actually melted the bottom corner of the side panel, down by where those mount. Just things I was thinking of, not knocking the product. It is a cool idea, I just will be curious to hear from those who have run them for a bit.

On the flip side, if your exhaust pipe is melting your side plate, that doesn't leave much hope for the decals or the Graphics Guards. The Graphics Guards also help keep the 2 part lower section on the Husqvarna's together.

I got a set of these for my YZ. They fit perfectly. Just looking at them on the bike, though, it would be nice if they were made of firm rubber or something tacky for more grip. I also seem to wear out the graphic near the top bolt on the side panel and these do not cover that part.

You can get the Carbon Fiber ones from CMT.
There’s a guy on here (Racinstation) that sells them or you can order them direct, but shipping is expensive.
