I’ve see this a couple times on freestyle bikes the kill switches and electric start Buttons are on the frame so they don’t it them mid air, But on Christian Craigs vlog there’s one on the frame and one the bars I’ve seen this on a couple bikes can anyone explain?

Why not eliminate the one on the bars and be done with it?

Because it’s still easier/faster to start the bike with the one on the bars, and you can hold your clutch in and don’t have to find neutral. The one on the frame is just as a last resort. Isn’t that obvious?

Two out of the three benefits you suggest would still apply if there wasn't a start button on the bars. Isn't it obvious?

Wow... you cant fix stupid.. if that was the way to do it, the factory would put them there in the first place , right.

1 is a starter button, the other is a Hug button. Team is alerted in there headset, then rider pulls in to receive a Hug. For getting feelings hurt in the race.

My guess is it makes it possible to start the bike while you are lifting it off the ground after a fall. Instead of picking your bike up sitting on it and then starting it. Every second counts

I've been wondering why most riders have 2 different positions for their holeshot devices

That, and also if the rider stalls it at one point, he can re-start and pursue in the same movement.
Every second counts, as you say.
When all put together, using two buttons is the option covering the most range of problems that anyone can face while racing MX or SX at that level, at the (minimal) cost of extra weight.
So it makes sense.
