In my opinion. The triple crown mains are a little to short.
And 1 Main is a bit long.
So I think A Two Moto, Motocoss format.
With two 15 lap races for each class would be perfect.
What do yall think?

Do one on a 4 stroke, other on a two stroke. Foot race breaks tie.

450 class heat races during the night show are dumb.

I like the races set with a time in minutes, to provide close to the same amount of racing regardless of laptimes.

I agree , that's another Reason I was thinking two 15 lap Moto's that both count. Like Outdoor MX serious. Add the scores together.
If not 15 laps . Than Two 15 minute races.

I love the triple crown format.
That being said...I never understood why SX was only 1 main while outdoors was 2. I'm glad they mix in the triple crown now but I'd prefer all races just be 2 mains across the board.

Same, love the current triple crown format aswell. When u turn on the broadcast and it's instantly go time, instead of some not so exciting heats. The Australian triple crown format looked brutal tho, 3 races in a row, no break.

Thats what i like the most about triple crowns is as soon as the gate drops its all the best guys going for it and it actually matters not just gate pick like the endless heats and lcqs determine

Thing about being a great motocrosser is being able to still haul ass after 20 min. Anything less is just talent, not same as being in incredible shape. If you're not in the best shape in the world, go home.

Two motos in the outdoor season are fine.

One of the great things about SX is having a main event. The winner wins. More pressure, and a clear outcome.

You want to cut it down so there's just a 450 main and that's it?...only 22 450's make the night show?....and we get 2 less races?...but then there would be no need for a 450 LCQ so there would be 3 less races? This makes absolutely no sense to me. What would be the rationale for getting rid of 450 heat races? WTF? Are you trolling to see who's paying attention or to see who the real moto fans are?...and you even got someone to agree with you!Whistling

What do you think about 250 heats?....2 mains and call it a night?

I like how we currently have some triple crown and some regular format.
I’m not too keen on a 2x moto for SX
I do think the triple crown should pay points per moto tho, but not sure how it should actually work, not full points per moto.. that’s too much

A 2 or 3 Moto night show for the 450 class is better than waiting 2.5 hours for the race you've been waiting for. If you want qualify through heats during the day that's good, if you want to run the lcq during the night show that's good too. 2 15 minute mains or 3 12 minute mains give more racing with the top guys and every minute counts.

The 250 class can be run in the standard format to de-elevate it in importance compared to the 450 class and give more guys a chance to race in the night show.

Change it to two 15 minute long mains and i'm all in.

The current triple crown format is nothing i would like to see in all 17 rounds because i feel they are too short and three of the mains is one too many. The margin of error is way too big in my opinon in the triple crown format, you can screw one up and still be in reach of a good result and that takes the excitement away for me.

Long story short. One gained or lost position on the track doesn't matter enough and that takes away the tension and excitement imo.

But it seems like this is a minority opinion.

I was all about the triple crown races but now I'm not so sure about any multiple main format.Once they changed to a 20 minute instead of 20 lap format I found that to be just right in my book. MX has it's long established history of a two moto format and SX it's history with a single main event. I think that is how it should be imho,

Just a though. I do like how it's all 1 main winner take all type as someone else said. But my though is more so that the 3 are to short and two would be better than 3.
