That being said...I never understood why SX was only 1 main while outdoors was 2. I'm glad they mix in the triple crown now but I'd prefer all races just be 2 mains across the board.
One of the great things about SX is having a main event. The winner wins. More pressure, and a clear outcome.
What do you think about 250 heats?....2 mains and call it a night?
I’m not too keen on a 2x moto for SX
I do think the triple crown should pay points per moto tho, but not sure how it should actually work, not full points per moto.. that’s too much
The 250 class can be run in the standard format to de-elevate it in importance compared to the 450 class and give more guys a chance to race in the night show.
The current triple crown format is nothing i would like to see in all 17 rounds because i feel they are too short and three of the mains is one too many. The margin of error is way too big in my opinon in the triple crown format, you can screw one up and still be in reach of a good result and that takes the excitement away for me.
Long story short. One gained or lost position on the track doesn't matter enough and that takes away the tension and excitement imo.
But it seems like this is a minority opinion.
