Gene (Fireball) Gentsch - moved to Cal about 20 years ago.

Mike Farmer - last I heard still lives in Baltimore area. His brother operates Farmer cycle near Glen Burnie.

Mike Moore - ran into him at the MXoN and he still lives in Baltimore.

After moving to California, Fireball moved to Brazil and was on the Holly Cigarettes team with Rodney Smith. I don't know if he still lives there or moved back to the US

There's been a rumor for quite some time that Mike Moore died. Haven't seen him or his old buddy Wade is YEARS.

He is still around. My buddy raced him last year at Atco a few times, and Brian's son is racing minis now.

Didn't Fireball Gentsch end up working in the circus down in Brazil, jumping elephants at Carnival on a dirt bike?

I am not making this up.

Mike Farmer quit racing back in 83 or something like that. He just started racing District 7 again last year in the 40+ class. I raced him a few weekends ago in a D7 race (he rides a YZ125 too), and the man still has skillz. He told me that he had so much going for him back then, free bikes, free rides to the races, ect - but took it all for granted and got in lots of trouble (sound like anybody else?).. He's got his life back on track now from what I can tell.

I partied my ass off one night back in the day with Mike Farmer at the D7 awards banquet. I have a picture of Terry Tucker nailing a massive holeshot at Sleepy Hollow on a Yamaha when Big Mick Kessler and Kenny Adams were in the field that day. Do you mean Brian Thompson the black racer from D6? The Denglers should be on that list. As for Ringer......

Mike got busted and did some time in the slammer but........I talked to him at MXoN......alive and doing well with a wife & kids.

I asked him if he was going to get his kids into riding and he said....... NO WAY!!!

Someone mentioned Wade was doing the vintage stuff......I wonder if Morningstar is doing them too?

Should definetly put Joel Dengler and Lee Rostien JR on that list both were englishtown hotshots as well as Motocross National Qualifiers. Dengler was also a factory husky rider for the GNCC's for a bit, and still races some woods events not sure about motocross though

Here's another one.

http://muzambinho.com/.../junho07/expogxp.htm

Day 13,07, enters the roundup in horses and in bulls of the GRF, Guaxupé Rodeo Festival, the public will have a surprise with the show of the North American consolidated in Brazil, Fireball Gene - artistic name of Eugene Daniel Gentsch Júnior. No matter how hard if it knows that the motorcyclist goes to invade the enclosure for bullfighting with its motion, to make acrobatics, to raise dust and to sing, the presentations of Fireball Gene are always surprising. Still more now, coming back to Expoagro/GRF after two years, to make its fourth presentation in Guaxupé. Between the attractive ones, they are challenging jumps of motion on fire drawings. Exactly cliente of that who plays with fire can be burnt, Fireball Gene carries through a average of 130 the 140 shows annual. Already it earned, per two years consecutive, the biggest prize of roundup in Brazil: the Trophy Gold Enclosure for bullfighting. Already it proved half professionalism for challenges and overcoming of limits, but also it makes question to work, playing.
