Geez, I really don’t know how y’all survive those winters. It’s going down to 32 F tonight and that’s very rare for the Lowcountry. I always wanted to see that lake effect snow I hear about in Buffalo, though.

Hard to believe....minus 41degC is a mind f#ck.

I just took a walk outside the hotel here and I almost shat me old pants full. This is all my riders fault. He was supposed to do 250 West but got Epstein Bar, so we scribbled West Coast and due to his in-experience in SX we decided to skip East Coast SX as the risk of getting hurt and messing up outdoors is to high. So here I am, the team owner has me as his right hand man for a bit.

Great experience and every day is a new adventure but the cold is freezing me ol piles...

I'm working with a kid this side weather permitting and getting to see the East Coast properly. It's a good deal I have and I can't complain.

I'll also be back on the West Coast in the new year. Going to be nice watching SX without the grind.

Buffalo gets some really good lake effect storms but Syracuse almost always wins the “golden snowball award” which is the snowiest city in the country with over 100,000 population. We sit right on the Far East end of all the Great Lakes so all that moisture the weather systems pick up just dumps snow on us once they get landlocked. I work at Syracuse University (which is also the nations snowiest major college campus) I’m groundskeeper so I’m in this shit all winter. 19 hour day yesterday plowing snow and getting the carrier dome set for a basketball game. Here’s a few pics to show the storms we get on the regular here

My blood is so thin I'm at Animal kingdom lodge and it says 59. I am curled up with long sleeve shirt, plus a Mickey tee and a huge super wool sweater coat thingy, still in shorts and socks. Guess I will have to put on my first pants of 2019. Lol getting down to 46 tonight here in Orlando. Its 20 degrees colder here than my house 3 hours south.

MAHWAH, New Jersey (WABC) -- States of emergency were declared in New York as a winter storm battered the Tri-State area Monday with snow and freezing rain.

Travel was treacherous, and commuters were urged to use mass transit whenever possible, and to use extreme caution if driving is necessary.

Governor Andrew Cuomo declared a state of emergency in Ulster, Schenectady, Saratoga, Rensselaer, Greene, Columbia and Albany counties, as upstate New York and areas to the north and west of New York City received the brunt of the storm. Amounts of 3 to 6 inches were reported locally, but some parts of the state could see up to a foot of snow.

Cuomo has also activated 300 members of the National Guard to assist with snow removal and clean-up operations in the seven counties placed under a state of emergency.

Freezing rain is the key component there. No one cares about snow but once you've got ice covered roads there's not much you can do. I get it though, you hate the east coast and west coast peeps are far superior. No need to measure tally wackers. We all know Cali is super amazing Laughing

Headed to Seattle tomorrow night for Christmas with the wife's family. Hopefully Snoqualmie Pass gets plowed well tomorrow and the snow stops. It's warmer than normal right now up there, but that's right at the temp that seems to produce the most, and the wettest, snow.

We're just starting to get the ground covered again down in Wenatchee. Flakes are slowing down, though, and they are smaller. Could be a few inches when we wake up tomorrow. It was about 2 inches this morning, but the roads were basically clear by 9AM. Here's what it is looking like currently.
