Brought the Beta all the way from Texas hoping to ride the glen for the first time ever Friday to get a feel before racing over 60 on Sunday. The son-in-law wanted to get involved also so bought him a used bike yesterday and a new set of gear, not sure if that track is suitable for beginners?
It has been raining steadily since 8 am and it is now 6 pm. I live about 5 miles from GH as the crow flies and have seen GH after a storm like we had the last 2 days. I think it is going to be really muddy. Tomorrow is going to be very cool. I don't see GH drying out significantly by Saturday. The hills will be a trial for a real beginner. Maybe Institution road will be open by Saturday. I usually go Saturday for the vintage race but will probably pass this year.

Johnny, look for a Suzuki canopy with 2 RMZ450’s under it. #23 and #20

Here’s a pic of my ride. Maybe we can have a beer after my race.

Anybody got pics from the track? Mr. Info? I'm thinking Friday has become a snow day to go play, hopefully the sun that is out now will give the track a chance to get good for Sunday? Pretty sure Saturday will be a slopfest.

I was told the track looks good. My parents literally just parked. I’ll have them send pictures.

I keep getting reports that the track looks good. As of right now, doesn’t sound like it will be a slopfest

This event is both a blast and a bruiser if you go the Iron Man route—rode a team race and novice race with my boys on Saturday, then the 50+ and another team race with my boys Sunday topped with the Coup de Gras, and literally couldn’t walk for an hour Sunday after the final race, LOL! Transponder said I was on the track for 1 hr 31 minutes in the last race. I’m getting too old for that! You all have a great weekend!!!

We had a blast, heading back up tomorrow and Sunday. I’m kinda bummed I’m missing the race, but at least I’ll be riding ! Cool

Track was really good and even started to get a bit dry in spots by the end of the day. The track was so rough!!!! We ended to 6th in the Father/Son GP our of 30 teams so we were stoked. Missed a trophy by 1 spot Sad

Glad the track turned out to be good. I kinda wish I would’ve just went and raced, but we had an all time day today up in them hills. So good, that I’m going back up for my 4th day in the last 5. Woohoo

Haha I didn’t even see him there until I got the pictures. I saw him later and talked to him for a minute.
