I'll throw my 2 cents in. This could be a simulation: If you think about what a simulation based on laws of physics and light and shit would look like at the beginning, when you hit compile on that, it would look like the big bang. Or, we could be a resource farm planet for some ancient intergalactic species that manages trillions of planets. Or, there could be different "spiritual" planes of existence and this is just one of them.

I never took the simulation theory seriously but it can't be ruled out. It makes as much sense as any other creation theory.

I watched the Snowden interview last night and if he's telling the truth, because of the job he was in, he actually did have access to pretty much everything. It's one of the main reasons he got into trouble and is now hiding in Russia. If he didn't have that kind of access he wouldn't have been able to discover what he discovered about what the big cheeses were up to. Certainly it has no bearing on whether or not aliens have ever visited earth, but it is relevant as to whether our government knows any more about the subject than you or I do, which I personally don't believe they do.

Not really UFO related but I stumbled on this video the other day and its pretty interesting. I didn't realise Werner Von Braun was so young, he must have just been a kid when he was designing stuff for the Germans 15 years before this video was made (1955). Pretty crazy that we are still just scratching the surface of what he had envisioned for space travel 65 years ago.

Reflection was like a constant shimmer.

Markee-- similar experience. Approx 15 years ago, My Dad and I and 2 buddies were coming back from playing 36 holes at the famous Pete Dye resort course Mystic Rock at Nemancolin in Farmington,Pa. We were heading up Rt 40 near Hopwood ,Pa around 7pm, it was mid August so it was still full daylight, ( and as I sometimes do, was exceeding the speed limit a bit.) Pa State Trooper pulls me over and my dad and buddies are busting my balls as the trooper is gathering my license ,etc. As he's doing his thing I notice a shimmering almost translucent huge craft slowly moving across the mountain ridge probably 2 miles ahead of us. Im staring at it and everyone else is too, the Trooper turns to look at what we are staring at and says "Holy shit" somewhat under his breath. As we are watching this, probably 2-3 minutes ,it stops and hovers for about 30 seconds and then shoots back in the direction it came from and quickly disappears. The Trooper goes back to his cruiser comes back and give me a written warning, my buddy asks him if he had any idea of what that thing was, he said he had radioed back to dispatch and had them do a air traffic check for any type of activity, and there was nothing in the area. My best description from my vantage point was that it looked like a huge blimp that was almost clear but shimmering like the Predator character. When it was hovering it seemed to get slightly more "solid" but quickly resorted back to translucent when it reversed direction . So we weren't quite sure if it sped off so quick that it went out of sight or if it just sort of dematerialized as it flew away. It was very odd. My Dad and his buddies hardly said a word on the remaining hour and a half ride home,lol.
I am definitely a believer, but that remains as the only sighting I have that was, in my mind ,something definitive of a non-terrestrial craft. I'm a night sky watcher and have seen a ton of odd "lights" in the sky, but sometimes its the ISS flying over at a ridiculous pace , sometimes unknowns. But "lights" at night are just too tough to designate as ET crafts

Wow this is the first time I noticed in this video right about the 5:10 minute mark the military F-18 pilot draws on a scratch pad the formation of UFOs
he saw.

What's ironic is that's the exact formation we witnessed and I drew and posted in this thread! Woohoo

That one guy on his death bed, can’t remember who, warned society of a fake alien invasion. I think with the emergence of AI, that will be a real possibility. Imagine seeing AIs that actually walk and talk like Bigfoot, aliens, monsters portrayed on TV. Seeing is believing, and now, more possible than ever with AI.
