Okay we have had some critics of MotoAmerica as some of you miss the Glory Days of American road racing.
Of course I do too but thanks to Wayne Rainey and his crew he has slowly but surely bringing the series back up from the cellar.
I don't know if you guys have been watching the races but the top five guys are really fast and any of them could win. The championship went down to the wire, the final race on Sunday!
It does not get better than that and Cam was 14 points down going into the final weekend.
But yet not a peep from any of you guys....
I was so happy that little fugger Tony did not win it even though I'm a Suzuki fan. Tony led the championship for the whole season but lost it in the final race as I think he buttoned up the collar on his race suit too tight that day!
Garrett Gerloff even won for the first time this season and I got to witness it first-hand at Laguna Seca.
Was very happy for him, he seems like a good kid and he started to get on a roll before he crashed and banged his head pretty good.
Anyway guess who's going to world superbike next year!
Yeaaaa!

Well the boss Wayne Rainey is impressed with Garret, that's what I've been saying all along we need Motoamerica support them!

Oh and by the way I've been ignoring the MotoGP thread as I'm not caught up on all my racing on the DVR.
Anytime you have five guys that can win a Superbike Race on any given day and the championship goes down to the final race of a weekend that's a pretty good series to watch. 😎
Cool story about Cam yeah I would like the kid too.
I remember when I was first watching him his mannerisms and looks and his will to win reminded me of a young Ricky Carmichael.
Rainey and his crew yes, deserve a lot of credit. They have done an admirable job.
Now, if they could just get Daytona back in the schedule................

She's quite a gal and very easy to talk to which I found out at Laguna Seca. She's very down-to-earth and Kyle Wyman is one lucky dude. 😜
Funny how life works she was a New York state beauty queen got a gig with Motoamerica doing pit reporting and now she's married to one of USA's faster Road racers.
Anyway this is a good interview with Hannah and it has some good Drone footage over Laguna Seca--what an awesome track, real old school road racing at its finest. 😎

What a beautiful track definitely need to go there one day.
They had a first time winner in the superbike race.
The twin cup race last 3 laps are a barnburner!

FS1
Race 2 tomorrow same time and channel.
Cameron Is rolling right now and he has been for the last few years he needs to take the next step and go over to Europe like Garrett Gerloff who by the way was in 8th place last week in WorldSuperbike but got passed in the last few laps. Ended up 10th not a bad showing as he is earning his overseas wings.
How will we ever get guys overseas representing USA?
Gerloff would be giving Cameron some competition but he moved on to the next step which is Europe and is what I think Cam should do but he's probably making a good living doing what he's doing.
I still watch when ever I can and will go to a race when possible.
The top guys are going fast, I enjoy it and support it.

I just finished watching, good battle for 2nd.
I'm not sure of his age but that could hinder him.
He has talent there's no doubt about that.

They even mentioned Gerloff's podium on Motoamerica broadcast yesterday and how Motoamerica is good for funneling riders to Europe. They also said Cam is looking for a ride over there
Yes Cam is dominating, but there are some fast riders giving it their all. And I believe Cam was faster than Gerloff most of the time and he seems to be on another level this year.
Would Luv to see him go over to Europe as I'm sure some of his competitors would too!
And with Gerloff's 3rd place it proves our top guys are not that far off the pace. He was in 2nd but went wide in turn 10 on the FINAL LAP!
I also think Cam is faster and I hope he goes over there too!
Really miss having American Riders competing overseas to REPRESENT.
That is why thanks to Rainey and the boys we "NEED MOTOAMERICA!".
👍😎
