It could still be 1 on 1 bracket racing for safety...just curious of others thoughts? Could it make better racing/worse..would fans/riders still be game to show up?

Fuck it.... Make it a figure 8 and see what happens. Couldn't possibly take out more riders than A1 and A2.

Yep an Australian promoter ran this set up at one of our V8 Supercar rounds, it worked very well and made for some great racing.

I think your idea betrays the "STRAIGHT" part of straight rhythm. However if you are looking for a fresh idea to make it more interesting (which I don't think it really needs a fresh idea, I like it the way it is) we could discuss adding lanes. Instead of 1v1 it could be 2v2 or any number that makes it interesting. I really only think this would be an option if this event blew up even bigger with way more high profile entries.

I'd also put some spikes and guns on the bikes and some swords maybe, so they can fight mid-air!

Seriously, one of the most enjoyable events in a calendar, I am a premix freak though, so I might be biased.

To be fair on the original poster wasn’t their small turns in it one year? I remember maybe it was a sand section or something but the track
Separated and came back together. Does anyone remember what year that was? I think it was a Malcolm stewart year
