...most insightful, most tactically savvy, and most well-spoken motocross media analyst in the world.

His commentary in the booth during the races, and in podcasts both before and after the event, was absolutely superb. I have no idea if he wants an expanded role in the media in the future, but mx media would be better for it,

Thanks JT

I was surprised too. He was concise, at ease and sounded very professional overall.

Agree.
Emig sounded like an idiot.

ya he was awesome, hes one of my favorites on pulp too, although i like emig he was hard work to listen too, i guess he was bought on as the "technical" speaking person but felt like he was trying a bit hard to find "technical" things to talk about. Jt & blair would be a great team blair is a good natural rambler to fill ralphs shoes

100% agreed. He's more careful than the others, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. He always have something interesting to say when he speaks up and he's clearly becoming more comfortable in the role for every race he does. I hope he does a lot more races next year.

Thought JT was very good and shoots from the hip.
Not surprised he did well as any time a I listen to racerx he’s the first guy to stop Matthes when he starts talking s..t
Another thing about him he’s US to the core but that doesn’t give him a skewed perspective with assessing Mxgp subjects.
Well done JT

I believe JT said enough. Emig I felt got a little bit annoying at times and I was just waiting for Malin or JT to talk instead. Maybe having 2 people like Emig and Malin at the same time was a little much but JT did just enough talking and was very careful about what he said instead of just talking to talk.

Him and Malin are the perfect combo imo,JT$ did many MXGPs and clearly did homework on a lot of these guys as well as being very informative on his own countrymen and scene.

I dig the back stories, other goings on,facts, history etc that commentators speak about and particularly the live timing, sector and lap times, position changes etc rather than talking about what they see on screen

I think the only thing Emig brought up the whole time was how far lap times dropped off. He would mention the qualifying time, and current time, then couldn't subtract the difference correctly.

Thanks for the kind words, everyone. Of course I would have liked to speak more at times but I was also trying to be respectful of the other two. Paul has several things he needs to work in and out of with timing, sponsors, etc, and Fro has done several of these MXoN races so I tried to stay deferential.

One thing's for sure, though, I had a great time and would be willing to do more races any time I am asked.

In all seriousness, that's useless and not good enough. I read this thread and still don't know who is JT$ nor do I know the other initialed individuals.

I’ve always known this. He is great- Well spoken, great insight and has a great depth of knowledge from his years on the circuit as a privateer.
Weege and Daniel Blair are great as well, I would enjoy these guys doing Supercross!

Malin and JT do a great job together. Malin alone seems a bit too much to hear, jt adds another element and insight. The back and forth is refreshing to hear also.

JT$'s MXdN preview is worth another read! Experience, passion, preparation are all there and he was able to articulate that on the MXdN broadcast.

I would credit Matthes for all the practice Pulp Mx show provided, leading up to this moment

Sometimes I feel like JT is the only guy out of all these media outlets that actually knows what he is talking about. I really apreciate hearing his views every time. Pretty funny at times also, wich is surprising with that resting bitch face he usually has. Lol sorry

JT did do a great job, and Emig sucks as usual.

JT way to sneak in the fly racing 15 second board before moto 2 on Sunday. Very very sneaky.

JT did a great job, very calm and precise, and actually had interesting insight as to what was happening on track.

This might sound insane, but i'd like to see Matthes and JT in the booth. They're polar opposites, one talks like a parrot, the other only when necessary, but both know their shit. It'd be entertaining as fuck.

Matthes is a proven winner, he's done it before. (i can't remember when, pretty sure it was an outdoor and also the Des Nations)
Malin, Matthes and JT would be the power house!
